Pixie Dust Creations specializes in fanciful Face Painting and Temporary Glitter Tattoos (which are water-​proof and can last up to 7 days). We also offer Balloon Twisting & Henna designs, and proudly serve the MD/​DC/​VA/​PA metro area. Our face paint designs range from 1 – 2 minute simple designs (great for large events) to highly detailed full face designs (best for small parties, special events or individuals). We are delighted to cater our designs according to your event theme! Our face paints are made of non-​toxic, water-​based ingredients which are fully compliant with FDA toy and cosmetic regulations, so no need to worry if everyone is safe. We want everyone to have a wonderful experience, and together we will foster many great memories to be spoken of for years to come!

History

Established in 2011.

Pixie Dust Creations was born from my passion for painting; or more specifically, face painting. The artwork produced by professional make-​up artists and face painters brings out our most inner beauty. Inspired by an artist friend, I began with a little Snazaroo face painting kit from the craft store, and the rest is history. I was hooked by the happiness brought to people when they saw the magic on their faces. Especially the children whose responses were elated, even during my humble beginnings. They embraced the art which transcended into creative play. It is gratifying to give children an opportunity to use their imagination and have a great time.

Sandra is a Mother of two children and has always loved using various forms of art to foster her own children’s creativity and imagination. She accidentally «stumbled» into the world of face painting while at a friends’ party. The play, joy and imagination the face painting created for the children is what led her to start this most amazing «career.»
