Spring Spa

This is by far the worst salon I’ve ever stepped foot into, solely due to the unprofessional and extremely disrespectful owner, Vu. I had a scheduled appointment with Pat, that was evidently double booked when another customer came in after me for the same time with the same person. After checking the computer to see that my appointment was in fact scheduled at that time, Vu made Pat do the other woman’s nails and told me that my nails would be done by someone else and also be free, due to the inconvenience. Having never been there before, I was not yet attached to Pat and just wanted my nails done so I agreed (side note: Pat was extremely apologetic and voiced that she knew I had an appointment and didn’t feel comfortable ditching me, but Vu told her she didn’t have a choice). Twenty minutes later, Vu explains to me that I won’t be getting my nails done and that all he can offer me is a gift card. I left the salon with half taken off gel nails that were not redone… but the other woman (who also came in after me) received full service. Terrible customer service, terrible people, terrible experience. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I will never go to Spring Spa again.

I confess. I went to another salon. And comparing it to Spring Spa, it fell short on so many things: the selection of colors, the quality of the manicure. No hot wax. So I contacted my favorite technician at Spring Spa and we set up another appointment. It was wonderful. Everyone was so kind. The owner apologized for the confusion, and once again, I got an awesome manicure and pedicure. Sigh. Good to be back there.

Clean, bright and welcoming. The highlight is Mary, the Massage Therapist. She will ease your pain and your mind. Very skilled and intuitive.

Been going to Vu for years, love the Genovi products. I always receive compliments on my nails, he does a great job. Would certainly recommend.

They come for the wine…
Very clean and updated décor with big screen TVs and a fireplace on the wall while you get your nails done. However it is pretty pricey and still not sure if the paraffin wax is free to extra. On the plus side I have never had to wait for service and they are conveniently located for those in the surrounding Linganore area.
Oh and did I mention they offer you wine while you get your nails done? ;-)

Let’s just say that I’ve decided to vote with my dollars. I’m tired of the moody, temperamental owner who occasionally talks to walk-in’s so rudely that I have been embarrassed. Manners and courtesy outweigh convenience every time so I will be looking for somewhere else to get a manicure.
