Almost 10-years ago my parents told me they removed my childhood deck(host of many happy memories) from their house and installed a patio in their backyard. That idea sounded terrible to me. Then I saw the large patio in person — it looked great! And still looks as good/new today as it did when the patio was first installed. JEMV installed their patio. Two years ago my brother and his fiancé had their rehearsal dinner on that patio and it was a beautiful event! My parents have also hosted major family reunions, graduation dinners etc. on that patio and will continue to host other events, including our extended family Thanksgiving today. When I moved back to the area and bought my first home, I thought I’d like to eventually remove the deck(which was in bad shape and not installed correctly) and install a patio too. I’m in the middle of having that process done to my home using the same company that my parents used. I had gotten a few estimates from other businesses because I always do my research on price and JEMV was several thousands of dollars less and included stamping and a fire pit! Plus, being able to see how my parents patio has held up, it was easy to feel confident in the service and quality that JEMV could provide. The JEMV team worked quickly and was fun to watch, even my 92 year old grandma who lives with me stopped reading her book to sit by the patio door and watch them throw the powdered coloring in the air as they put down rubber stamps, stepped on the stamps and turned the smooth cement into what looks more like Pennsylvania blue stone. When the owner wasn’t satisfied with the rubber print, he came around with a tool(similar to an oversized ravioli edge trimmer) to finish the job. JEMV came back a few days later to stamp the sides of the two patio door stoops that they installed and stamp the sides of the steps. They came back a few days later to power wash the patio and the owner of the business spent at least 30-minutes with me — helping to move around my patio furniture and grill and talking about how many people might be a guest at future gatherings on the patio to figure out the best placement for the fire pit. A few days later they came back to add stain to a few of the«stones» to have more color variation in the concrete to look more like real Pennsylvania blue stone and seal the patio. They’ll come back in a few more days to install the fire pit and my patio will be finished. Throughout the process of working with JEMA they were flexible with my schedule. They gave us several days to install railings on the stoop(they could have done this but we were trying to save money) before coming back to continue working on the patio. They also poured the cement late in the day so I could be there to watch — I’m a teacher and avoid taking days off. They’re also here on Thanksgiving day working on the stone stain, then sealing the patio, and prepping where the fireplace will go. I’m looking forward to our first bonfire and family gathering on my new patio. I would highly recommend this company for your cement needs. My parents and I have been very pleased with our patios. (I’ll upload more photos when 100% done).
