I rented a property from them for 2.5 years and they were always more than nice to me. Sometimes people need to realize that when they don’t get right back to you they are waiting to hear from the owners. Whenever I had repair issues at the property they were handled very quickly. My A/​C went over a holiday weekend. They called me right back and got someone out there, I had to wait a few days for the repair only because a part had to be ordered. When I had a strange incident where my neighbor did damage to the property they got right on it.
They have one of the most extensive move out process that I have ever gone through but, I did get my full security deposit back. I also realize that this is to protect the owner of the home.
Cheryl is very, very nice. She is upfront and honest with you any time you have a question. Never hesitate to rent from them and I wouldn’t hesitate to have them manage my property either.

The person in charge of taking care of repairs Tammy is extremely rude. It bothers me that I have to be nice to people like this because I need things taken care of.

We used J&G to manage our rental property in Spotsylvania. We had renters for 3 years. Upon their move out, J&G didn’t want to charge them for ANYTHING beyond what THEY considered ‘normal wear and tear’ which meant NOTHING!!! NOTHING! We had one bedroom carpet ruined by pet urine and it wasn’t even annotated on the move out inspection! Supposedly, the ODOR wasn’t smelled during the move out inspection! The tenants NEGLECTED the 1 acre yard the house sits on the entire 3 years they lived there and J&G didn’t want to charge them anything for the neglect! They repeatedly told me that if a judge were to hear my charges, they’d side with the tenants. WAIT! Didn’t I hire J&G to MANAGE to property and to SEE that they property/​house was properly maintained and to SUPPORT THE OWNER?!
While our ‘damages’ were minor in comparison to what other homeowners have to deal with, J&G did NOTHING, NOTHING but collect their commission and not see that our house/​property was properly maintained during their tenancy. After all, isn’t it THEIR job to see that the house is turned over in the SAME condition it was given to them?!
I WOULD NOT recommend them to my worst (!) enemy! They do NOTHING to help the homeowner.

I have been living in my townhouse for two yeas now. If I could go back and tell myself to find a new place I would. The receptionist is an asshole and the employees are jerks. If you have no spine and take abuse like they dish out then I’ll be praying for you. I’ll never work with Johnson and Glazebrook ever again.

Wish I had seen the reviews before calling this place! Huge waste of time and money! Had to call Michelle 7 times before could get ahold of her then went to look at a house for rent. Told her from the start we had bad credit but she said the landlord would work with us. After paying $ 80 for me and my husband as a married couple we got a call one day later saying we had been denied bc of credit… we’ll duh we already told you credit was bad. They didn’t call either of our employments one of which I have worked at for 10 years. We had great references and they didn’t call anyone!!! This place really pissed me off. My husband and I are expecting and they got my hopes up for nothing. Plz don’t waste your money!

If I could give negative stars I would. They do not: call back, return emails in a timely manner, are hostile and uncooperative. They do not spell names correctly and make amateur excuses for their reasons. I am not looking forward to working with them.

please save yourself time and money and do not ever rent from them! they never return phone calls and never fixed any maintence requests! youll spend all of your time chasing after them.
