Peach Tree Inn & Suites

Good place to sleep. Clean, comfortable, but nothing special. Close to Main Street. Breakfast poorly pulled together and bad coffee. Middle of the road motor lodge, with great potential.

Stayed the night in a king suite and it was very clean, stocked, quiet, and charming. A little dated but felt safe and clean. Bed was firm but, I prefer a firm bed so I slept very well. Will defiantly stay here when I come back through.

Just spent the weekend here. We asked for a king suite, received a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house. Over kill of course. Furnishings were old, bed hurt our backs. Smelled clean but it definitely needed much updating. Big tv in the living room and master bedroom. You are right next door to a neighborhood. It was walking distance to down town, that was nice. I would have to say I would not stay here again.
Btw, check in wasn’t smooth, couldn’t find our reservations and the guy just wasn’t friendly.

Peach Tree Suites is conveniently located on Washington Street just three blocks from Main Street/​290 and all the shops, tasting rooms and restaurants. Better yet, it’s only a few blocks from the Sunday Houses in the historic district and dining options that are great yet have shorter waits because they’re off the main drag (Woerner Warehouse and Sunset Grill for breakfast, to name a few).

Clean, nothing too fancy. The outside and inside was a little dated, but the price was competitive with other options in Fredericksburg. It was a quick 5min walk to the main strip with all the commotion, but the noise level at the Inn was quiet.
Coco the resident cat probably keeps up her end of the bargain — no mice or rats in sight :) She hopped on my lap and hung out with us at the tables in the courtyard area. I’m not a fan of cats, but she seemed pretty chill so I went with it.

A delightful little place to stay. Four blocks from Main Street, quiet, private and friendly. The bed was huge and comfy. The bathroom is quite small but clean in good shape. There didn’t seem to be enough hot water for two showers in a row during our three night stay. No bathtub. There was a porch light above the only window that must have had a 300 watt bulb in it. The management said there was no way to turn it off so we hung a blanket over the whole window. We would definitely stay here again. It was a nice place to stay.

Stayed with another couple in the house converted into individual rooms. Their room was much larger. Both rooms need serious attention. For the price charged, some money should be put into making the rooms for inviting. Dingy, musty, and no effort has been put into decorating. The patio and outdoor fireplace were nice, but rooms were not.

Had a great time staying here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean! We stayed in a suite, which not only had everything we could ever need, but also had a deck and small lot of land to relax in (also, outside grills). I would stay here again, 100%.

Love this place. Very comfortable at home feeling. We have been here a couple of times and last night our cabin had a pretty view with chairs on our porch to look out at the view. My daughter loves playing here with the large yard they also have cats. Very friendly staff. Great location.

I go here everytime I’m in Fredricksburg. The staff is friendly and accomendating. The rooms are spectacular. I was in a suite in the back and had a great little view. Breakfast was great, there were many options. They allow pets for an extra $ 20. And the hot tub was amazing!

I love this place! I had booked one of the smallest rooms at the Peach Tree Inn, but because I requested that the room they put us in have a good view since it was our anniversary, they took it a step farther and upgraded us to their stand alone cabin with a full kitchen! We also arrived to the cabin with a bottle of wine left on the table and handwritten card from the staff!
The cabin was adorable and romantic, the staff was nice and helpful, the location is within walking distance to Main St, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay this past weekend. The perfect, cute, quaint getaway we needed. We even got engaged at Enchanted Rock, so the room upgrade and bottle of wine was like our own little engagement party!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place. Most likely because I thought if I didn’t review it, that it would remain a ‘secret.’ Well, this cat is out of the bag and the irony is that they have a bunch of cats roaming around at the Peach Tree!
If you’re accustomed to 5 star hotels and Zagat rated restaurants — this place isn’t for you. Imma let you know that right now. The Peach Tree is quaint, simple, and has that country charm that would would find at a very well kept and clean inn. The beds were comfortable and the entire room was clean. We were able to walk to Main Street and I was able to drive nearby to grab some breakfast so we could eat outside. I love the simplicity of the place. It can get loud — some cottages are adjoined and the wood floors and acoustics can get noisy. We didn’t have that issue, but I could see it happening. We were able to hear the cows mooing from the pasture (behind?) the inn.
We look forward to our next visit and plan to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights this past weekend. We were in cottage «F». Our cottage was very quaint, and the bed was very comfortable. We were rather put out that we did not have controls to the central heat in our room. The 2^nd time the temp dropped down into the 30s, and the kitchen and restroom were freezing. We were able to hear our adjoining neighbors walking through their cottage, as well as some of their conversation. Due to having to run the window units heat non-​stop, we had to turn the tv up rather loud in order to hear it. Apparently, it was too loud for out neighbors as the banged on the wall on a couple of different occasions. Overall, the motel was cute and cozy. If we were to go back, I would make sure to see about getting a stand alone unit. Also, make sure we were to have controls to the thermostat.

This is my 2^nd time at the Peach Tree Inn & Suites and both times have been a great experience. The rooms are SPOTLESS and quite charming. I have no plans to ever stay anywhere else when in Fredericksburg.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The building are obviously older but the rooms are really quaintly decorated. The room I stayed in had a microwave, mini-​fridge, coffee maker, and really comfortable king sized bed.
Pets are allowed here for a $ 10 per night per animal fee. It’s located close enough to main street for you to walk to most of the stores.

Stayed two nights here and loved it! It’s not the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at, but it’s charm, location and staff more than made up for it. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Nice, old school motor lodge. We stayed for two nights this summer. It’s not as nice as the website makes it out to be but what is? A/​C is a window unit, cable is basic. The beat feature was the price. We paid $ 56 a night for a decent place within walking distance of the main drag.
The view could have been better. Our window looked out on the roof of another building. Outside our door was a storage business where they apparently have a large unit. Their staff spends a lot of time there, walking back and forth near the two story unit in the back that we were in.
Spend the extra money to get one of the cabana units.

This is a very charming Inn. Each unit is a little different from all the others. We rented two units, each had a king size bed, full-​size couch. One unit had a walk-​in shower in a whole separate room from the bath. The kitchen was a little smaller, but it was so cute. Everything in the kitchen was downsized like a smaller refrigerator, small stove with the appropriately sized pots and pans for the stove and oven. So cute. This was not a cookie-​cutter hotel room.
We enjoyed our stay there immensely and we will be back.

We spent an economic, restful, nite here and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. It is roomy, clean, quiet, and may seem not up to snuff at first, but settle in and enjoy because you will NOT find a better deal!

This is our second night in a king suite at Peach Tree Inn and Suites, and we are loving it! We came for spring break and didn’t have a reservation anywhere. Several of the «major» chains in town had no availability, so we checked Unilocal.We liked the sound of the place, so we called and there was ONE room available. The kind man said it was a king bed with a sofa sleeper, so we jumped on it.
As it turns out, the compound is *adorable* and what we thought was a room was a suite with a full kitchen and a gas fireplace. Add a HUGE front porch, super clean restrooms, comfortable beds, fire pits and picnic tables and we were wishing we could stay even longer. It’s just a short walk/​drive to Main Street and all the tourist attractions. This is a great place and we’re definitely going to stay here on our next visit to Fredericksburg.
