Has been in the hair industry since 1999! Troyce is a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor who is constantly finding new ways to inspire her team and as a Hair Stylist /Color Specialist to grow Troyce Raleigh Salon into the industry leader she knows it will be. She has true passion for the beauty industry and has explored all sides of it trying hair, skin and nails. Troyce always inspiring her team and encouraging them that the learning is never over if you want it! On going hands on education is a step closer to success!

Troyce is also the Coordinator for the Bridal hair, Special Event up-do’s & Make-up and skin care. She calls Fredericksburg the «Texas Vegas», because she has met people all around the world just by doing Bridal Hair and Make-up alone, being that Fredericksburg is the top Destination town to get married in Texas.

Got a great cut by Troyce. My hair is very curly with lots of cowlicks so it is best to cut my hair dry which Troyce did. Looks good!

I’ve been driving to Austin for the last few years to get my hair cut, however that was starting to get old and I decided to try someone local instead. The cut itself wasn’t bad, I probably would consider going back for another cut, EXCEPT the service was awful.
When I arrived, no one acknowledged me. Troyce and another girl (Julie I believe), continued their own conversation as if I wasn’t even there. The salon itself is dirty, and I mean dirty. There was hair everywhere and crap all over the counters and floors. Even after I got in the chair, Troyce and the other girl keep chatting away with zero regard for the customer that was paying to be there. The other girl was eating lunch and talking across the room with her mouth full, it was gross and far from the «zen» salon experience I was hoping for! As far as the cut goes: I’ve never had a cut that didn’t involve a shampoo prior, but that’s how this went. Troyce sat me down and just starting cutting my hair dry. It was different. For the price, I would have expected a shampoo.
Troyce is very sweet and a good hairdresser, but I can’t bring myself to step in that place again. The search for a hairstylist continues…

Horrible experience. My wife is a breastfeeding mom of a young baby. For Mother’s Day I wanted her to enjoy a few hours of peace and pampering so booked a hair cut plus mani/pedi for the following week. When I made the reservation I explained to the lady taking the reservation that I had to make this happen within a small window of time due to a feeding schedule. So I take a day off from work and plan the entire day to focus on my wife. Upon arriving for her appointment the reception lady has no idea why my wife is there and tells her she is at the wrong place. After explaining her story 2 different times she finally remembers and says sorry your stylist is not here yet. So my wife waits but after awhile checks back for an updated time and they had no clue. We are confident the appointment was never made correctly and they were stalling being that my wife was on a tight schedule she couldn’t risk waiting longer so left. She ended up at Allure Nails and says the place is much nicer and much cleaner. Save yourself the hassle of this place and look elsewhere. You can tell by the last couple of reviews that this place is a nightmare and they obviously don’t care about their customers.

Worst customer service. Made an appointment over the phone and had an extensive conversation with the stylist. Arrived on time for my appointment and was not even greeted as a new customer. Only received a grunt and a grimace from the stylist while she finished up a customer. The salon is filthy with hair all over the floor from previous customers and the owner never got up out of her seat the entire time I was there. Every attempt to speak with the stylist was met with attitude and eye rolling. Stylist put a book of color swatches in my lap and told me to pick one! I said that I wanted my hair blown out with a round brush and she stated she wouldn’t do it because it hurt her wrist. Then she refused to serve me and turned on her heels and left the room. Will definitely never return nor recommend this salon. I went down the street and, without an appointment, had excellent service at another salon — stylist was joyful, professional and nailed my color and blow dry.

Extremely bad customer service. We were there with a wedding party, and there was so much attitude. They ended up warming up towards the end — thank goodness. They gave so much attitude to my mother when she asked about different styles and times — we had some scheduling problems, and one of the girls said to my mom, «I guess we could come in early, but if they are going to be picky, we won’t have time». She said some other distasteful comments that my mother almost canceled our appointments all together! This is supposed to be a fun experience, and we hadn’t even started yet! Thankfully, my hair turned out okay, but it looked nothing like the picture I showed her. When she told me the one time I asked a question that I «had to realize it’s just not going to turn out like the picture», I gave up and let her do what she wanted at that point. What is the point of bringing in a picture if it’s not going to turn out like the picture at all? At one point they were actually bragging about having a «b*thcy» attitude. Unbelievable, why work in this profession???
Their standard price of $ 65 for an updo is way over priced — some of the girls hair was no where near worth $ 65. The makeup was pretty — but all of our lashes were coming off about an hr after leaving — also $ 65. Troyce was the only one who was polite through the experience. This was for my sister’s wedding, and I had thought about using them for my wedding later this yr before this experience — but after this day, I will go else where. Very disappointed.

I’m one of those people with a «hair cut phobia» so I never go to the same stylist twice and I only get a cut when my hair starts looking desperate… WELL, I think Troyce at Troyce Raleigh Salon changed that :)
She cut my hair late one weekday evening (that was a plus), was really sweet, took the time to listen to my concerns and asked questions back, and she did a really great cut that me and my friend were 100% pleased with. The price was even better — I was expecting a $ 60 price tag like I was used to paying in the city, and instead got it for half that!
The salon was decorated really cute on the inside, everything looked extremely clean, and the staff were all nice and funny to listen to.
Overall it was a great experience, I have and will continue to recommend to my friends, and I will definitely go back!

New in town, need hair color and cut. What to do. Look on Unilocal.Thank goodness I found Troyce. She blended my hair colors and gave me a perfect cut. So now I have found a nail place (Allure) hair salon Jay & Co, now all I need is a dentist and doctor! But I got the important things taken care of. :) Go see Troyce, she listens and is very very good.
