AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! If I could give her ZERO stars, I would. I put up with her for so long because I heard she was great, but I’ve finally run out of patience for her rudeness, inconsiderate behavior, and her idiot office staff.
She’s NOTORIOUS for 2 hour waits in her waiting room. If I have an appointment at 10 I dont even expect to see her until 11:30– and guess what, sometimes you DON’T see her. One time I waited an hour & a half in the waiting room, and then another 45 minutes undressed in a patient room, only to be told she wouldn’t be coming in that day. (And not to mention her patient rooms never look clean — I always tried to not touch anything.)
At least THREE times, I’ve been given an appointment during a time when her office is CLOSED!!! Why would they make appointments during the time they leave for 2+ hours in the middle of the day for who-​knows-​what?! Once, I sat outside for an hour waiting for her office to re-​open & when they finally let me in after knocking for an hour, I told them I had an appointment an hour ago, and questioned why they would make an appt for a time when they are closed. There was literally no explanation given and absolutely no apology– they acted completely nonchalant as if this was normal behavior. SO INCONSIDERATE AND SO EXTREMELY RUDE.
Her front office staff is HORRIBLE. In addition to crappy scheduling, I’m constantly being billed for things my insurance has paid for. I have gone in multiple times to dispute multiple charges, and they’ll tell me they’ll take care of it, but then I’ll get another bill, and another, and then a threat to be sent to collections. It’s almost as if they’re trying to SCAM people who don’t keep their EOB’s from their insurances, and don’t keep track of what is paid by insurance or not. What a damn joke!!!
Just recently, she merged with a company that I guess has multiple doctors working for them. I showed up for my scheduled appointment, and they had no idea who I was or why I was there. I wasn’t in their system AT ALL. The lady at the front desk told me Dr. Granthom didnt put any of her existing appointments in their system so I was just out of luck — SERIOUSLY!!! Their next appointment wa A MONTH later. That is the biggest bunch of bullshit I’ve ever experienced. I took off work for that appointment, and they wouldn’t even attempt to get me in to see her. There was ZERO apology.
I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before this — I created an account just for this review — that’s how strogly I feel about how shitty her practice is. People should be warned. DO NOT GO TO HER.

WORST doctor And Front desk STAFF Nurses!! REPUTATION Of C-section.MISS Treats pregnant girls .i know about 10 girls who had her as a doc while pregnant and had c section. supposobly the baby either doesnt go down or has itz body wrong ha Bullshit! Thats how she pays off her mercedez. Thankfully i changed doctors because i couldnt put up with her shit 2 hours waiting outside then 1 hour inside so she can take only 3min with me in there coming in and out not being able to ask questions nor would she talk to me. another day her nurses got all files lost and mistake me for another girl. they can never find the files. they got many girls with appointments of the same hour. she has no backup she cancelled on me after 3hours waiting so she can go to the ER for a girl having her baby and my bf and i leave so shez driving next us going at 15mph and taking the long way to the hospital wtf. My bfs friends wife had a c section too and had her infected and nurses mad at granthom for drugging them too much but cant take her to court .her own personal nurse working with her tells people because she will hide files. when i changed doctors she would not pull me hard and waited no longer than 3min outside and did everything perfect cared for her patients. last thing her staff nurses and granthom were mad and acting bitchy to the ones in santa cruz because i was changing.

I have to say, as for Dr. Granthom– she’s a great obgyn. She listens to your concerns, and helps anyways she can.
BUT! In all honesty I can’t say the same for her employee. Specifically her office manager. I believe her name is Erica? She is super rude, pays no attention to what you need. I had an appointment for hair removal with Dr. G, that she herself offered to me, well the day I went in for my appt. I waited around 20 minutes. The O. M comes out and tells me the dr isn’t going to be able to see me, @ this point– they had already called me 3x to re-​sched. Me since it was a different type of procedure…
I demanded to speak with Dr. Granthom personally, and the O. M refuses to let me in to speak to her. She goes to the back, comes out and tells me to go somewhere else for my hair removal… I ask again to speak to her personally, she says no, she can’t, I say not even 5 sec? N she goes I said no, Dr. G is a obgyn not a specialist with skin or hair removal??? Really?!
I left furious. Later found out the OM was trying to leave the office for vacation. So didn’t want Dr to waste time seeing anymore patients.
I’ve never gone Back. Even tho it has nothing to do with the Dr.
I still have to interact with her staff… And I won’t go they that again.

Dr. Granthom has been my Ob/​Gyn for over 5 years. I was referred to her by a friend who had many positive experiences with her and her office. I’m so thankful I was referred to her! Appointments are made working around my schedule, friendly reminders are made, and checking in at the front desk is quick and easy. Dr. Granthom takes time with you, listens and answers your questions and concerns, and makes you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. She delivered my daughter and coordinated my care from beginning to end. Dr. Granthom is amazing! I highly recommend her!

Highly recommended OB-​GYN. Dr. Granthom delivered my son and oversaw my entire pregnancy. Her office was always nicely kept, and her staff was also very friendly. She loves to answer questions and always has a smile on her face.
I recently looked up her credentials, and she has practiced for over 20 years — funny thing though, she doesn’t look a day over 30.
