Eh, this was a mixed bag. The venue was fine, the drinks were good, the band they had when I went(playing a mix of R+B from the 60s and 70s and beyond) was AWESOME. The service wasn’t great and the food(tried a couple of the soups and the octopus) was NOT good(the soups were *tiny* for the price, tasted ok but seemed to have none of the seafood the claimed to have and the octopus just wasn’t fresh or tasty). I saw several tables order the fried fish so maybe that actually tastes good, I don’t know. Might be better to just come here for drinks.

The band and ambiance were great. The food was not good. It was chilly out and two of us ordered the soup. It arrived cold. We also ordered the grilled octopus and there was hardly any octopus. It also arrived cold. Go for the drinks.

Horrible service! My friends and I went here to try a nice quiet place because everywhere else was way over crowded and we didn’t want to not have seating. So we get there, and first, the waitresses see us walk in, stares at us, and continues their convo, completely ignoring us. Then we wait for about 7 minutes and get seated. Once we’re seated now, the waitress takes over 15 minutes to bring the menus. We wait patiently and have another long wait time before she comes back to take our order. Again, with the time, she takes over 15 minutes. We order drinks, and when she is checking my id, she is questioning why I’m using this ID, then asked«what happened to your license, did you just never get it? «so, obviously at this point, I’m overly annoyed. Then, the moron can’t find my d.o.b. in the ID, and instead, blurts out, «but this says 2006» so I’m like, …yeah. it says issued in 2006. Right next to my birth date…» how stupid can you be? finally, we see her come back with a tray of drinks, she proceeds to spill the drinks all over my friends, and the table. She didn’t even apologize, and then told me they were out of my drink. I order a second, they’re out of that as well. I order a third, and amazingly, they have it in stock! Shocking. We order and the owner gives us a coupon for money off the bill because of his careless waitress. Then, we order. The food takes forever to come. We ordered the shrimp on tostones, fries, and guac. The guac was black in the shrimp dish. The shrimp and other foods had ABSOLUTELYZEROTASTE. HORRIBLEFOOD. The shrimp tasted fishy like they didn’t clean it properly. The plantain under the shrimp was so dry I almost choked. The wings were burnt and had no flavor at all. The fries were dry and over seasoned. It was like biting into sand. The ketchup was good. Lol, I didn’t even eat it after forcing down 1 of the shrimps. They serve on heavy stone rock plates which are impractical and too heavy to lift and share. Portions are tiny and expensive. Also, the woman with the blonde hair is so rude. If she is the owner, she had no customer service. We told her we wanted napkins and were ready to order and she was unwilling to take our order to the waitress. She just said, wait, I’ll send the waitress over when she’s done. Over 100 $ later. We stayed bc we were hungry and definitely regretted it. Do NOT waste your money or time here, their food sucks, service was horrible, music so annoying and honky, and drinks way too strong. Never ever ever going back here again.

Paradise is a beautiful club. Set on the water. Huge property with tons of station and a lot of room. The décor is light and bright. Very aesthetically pleasing. It has a tropical resort feel to it. Both owners are fantastic. Friendly and accommodating, even while they are helping hustle food out of the kitchen. It’s always a good sign when you see tons of food being ordered! The food is fantastic! Very fresh. We had the sliders, the pizza and the fried fish with fries, everything came out of the kitchen piping hot. The drinks are fantastic! This bar is different than the others on the Nautical Mile, it’s a breath of fresh air. Bands every Friday and Dj on Saturday and Sunday. The dance floor is set away from the bar so you can hear each other talk and your not blown away by loud music. Great placement! Another plus is that it’s not overrun with college age people, there’s an older clientele which makes for a more pleasant experience in my opinion. This is our new summer place! Thanks Paradise, for a better bar!

Came to paradise a few times for the different entertainment and finally decided I would give their food a try. I arrived with my husband at 645 on Friday night and there was one other couple seated. The ‘hostess’ took 10 mins to figure out where she could fit us in. She ended up seating us right under the speaker. The soda was flat, we ordered the oven roasted wings, tuna tartare, and sliders. What can I say the tuna tartare was ok but very tiny. Two of the wings were burned on the outside and a bit under cooked on the inside, the others were a bit too lemon flavored for my liking. The sliders didn’t taste like beef instead like pork not sure why. My husband ordered a Heineken unfortunately they don’t stock Heineken. Service was ok. $ 65 later for nothing special don’t think I will be eating there again.

Paradise on the mile, the nautical mile in Freeport. One mile of restaurants– bars and great places to meet friends. This place is new. Tonight a live band had the crowd rocking, singing and dancing. Comfy outdoor seating with optional bottle service, but not forced. Tonight is the first night with its serving menu.(see pic) Fast friendly service– billy, kyle, mike and Geovani. Strong drinks! A bit breezy with the water being so close so being a sweater ladies.(great for pics) Because it’s Long Island and the nautical mile– there are noise ordinances(restrictions) that have to be enforced. Meaning — the music will be turned down LOW. This is true for every bar/restaurant on the mile– so now you know, don’t complain. Small tiled dance floor– large lot with many casual tables. Would come back– this place has a lot of potential. Cons– the shrimp app– tasty but slightly too much for an outdoor venue.(too messy) Pros– Sliders were good– lobster rolls were good– the corn chowder was sweet and had the consistency of porridge. Fish tacos were good– lobster bisque is smooth and creamy.
