The Union Dairy is a Freeport Tradition since 1914 and serves 51 flavors of ice cream to enjoy in a cone, sundae or malt. The Union Dairy also serves local meat, cheese and chips, made right here in Freeport! The Union Dairy is located right next door to the historic Lincoln Douglas Debate Site as well as the bike path for all outdoor enthusiasts to travel from downtown Freeport to Madison, Wisconsin.
History
Established in 1914.
The Union Dairy was established in 1914 by two local businessmen that had separate milk routes. While sitting in their kitchen, CF Kaiser and AJ Hill, decided to join forces and combine their routes into one and called it «Union Dairy»… the rest is history!
