Never taking my car here again! I decided to try it out because it was local and I’m new in town. I needed something minor done. They quoted me two hours – it took 3 days, and I had to call each day because they never kept me in the loop. I was never given an explanation, I was waaaaaay over charged, and when I asked for an invoice the answer I got was «we don’t do that.» This is after I had to wait 45 minutes to get helped. I also overheard a conversation between the office worker and a mechanic about a customer who had just stepped out to get his cell phone in his car. He was getting an oil leak checked and fixed but they told each other that they found the problem and there was so much work that needed to be done it wouldn’t be worth it. When the guy came in they didn’t say this and led him to believe that it would be an easy fix and they would call him Monday when they had discovered the problem. It felt way too sketchy for me. I will be trying out Hillside next.

I had an inspection here. FYI — he doesn’t take the car for inspection while you wait, instead he has you do each step while he checks.

My Dad has been using Action Auto for repairs for his cars for years. When my husband and I decided to live part time in New Hampshire we decided to use his mechanic. The owner of this business is honest and the rates are good. It’s a long drive for us (we’re a couple hours away) but it’s worth it to us to know that we’re getting good service from an honest business.
