Dr. Slack is the best. She is a real person and I can always talk to her about anything. I highly recommend her.

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. She was my doctor during my pregnancy and she screwed up everything! That being my first time I didn’t know much about pregnancy and she didn’t care to tell me a thing. She didn’t even checked my Baby’s position and I had to go for a unplanned C section. To my amazement as soon as I went to the hospital and midwife touched my tummy she told me that my baby was in breech position and I will have to go for C section. But the doctor never bothered to check. My baby was under weight and was born with DS. There was a echogenic focus in ultrasound and when I asked Dr slack should we go for a test she said she will not worry about it and later everywhere in records she mentioned that parents declined the screening.
Just want to mention that I am very thankful to god for baby and I absolutely love him but it is doctor’s non caring attitude which still bothers me. There was an incident when I had white spots on my nails and when I told her she was like if you think you are taking less calcium take more, it can happen due to calcium deposition as well so if you are taking more take less now on. Does that even qualifies as a response???
She is the worst doctor ever. Please don’t go to her.

I have been going to Dr. Slack for about 6 years. She’s very personable and professional. If there is a problem she makes every effort to resolve it. She’s got a great sense of humor which I think is a plus when you’re dealing with a stressful medical condition. Yes, occasionally there is a wait, but her staff is always attentive and let’s you know what’s going on. Everyone in her office is professional and kind. I recommend Dr. Slack to all of my friends.

I came to Dr Slack’s office for my annual female exam last year. The front staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dr Slack was on time, cheerful and very informative. I will definitely be returning to this clinic for al my future ob/​gyn-​related care.

This doctor is HORRIBLE! She wasnt my doctor but unfortunetly she was the doctor on call for delivering my baby. she walks in all snobby and stuck up like shes mad at me for making her come down to deliver my baby. she takes her DEAR time and just stands there writing stuff down while im sitting there waiting to push my baby out. on top of that she was totally rude through out the entire delivery!!!
PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER OB! SHES the WORST EVER!!!

I haven’t seen Dr. Slack, but had a bad experience with her front desk today that was worth writing a review.
When I called to make an initial appointment with Dr. Slack, the receptionist asked me if I had a PPO or an HMO. My husband told me I had a PPO. The receptionist informed me that she was unable to verify that information for me.
This is extremely strange especially since my sister works at a hospital as an insurance verifier.
I called my insurance company an told them what happened, and even they found it very strange that her office was unwilling to verify my eligibility.
So yes, two stars, and two thumbs down for poor service. Dr. Slack just lost a potential patient.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Slack. She has been warm and compassionate with every appointment I’ve had with her since I walked into the office back in 2005. She doesn’t rush you in and out. She listens and answers questions in detail. I’ve only been delayed once for my appointment time but chalked it up to multiple deliveries that day (babies have no set time of delivery). She follows up with phone calls for lab results. She’s just an overall great doctor. I have since moved an hour away and I will travel just to continue with her.
My 20 year old daughter scheduled an appointment with her as her normal gyn was out of the office and she loved her as well. She has since transferred to Dr. Slack’s care.
We will be with Dr. Slack for many years to come.

I’ll start off by saying I was very impressed with Dr. Slack at my first appointment. She seemed warm, kind, and reassuring. I really thought I had found a doctor that I would continue going to for a long time.
That was three weeks ago. Today I had my follow up appointment for the severe hormonal imbalance I’m experiencing, which has my cycles totally out of control and is making my life a living hell. My appointment was at 5:20. I didn’t even see Dr. Slack until 6:10.
I waited in the exam room for over thirty minutes. It became so hot in there that I had to open the door to get some air. About five minutes later, I hear a lady ask if Dr. Slack needed help. That’s when I saw Dr. Slack walk into her office while saying she had a follow up with the «bleeder lady».
Bleeder lady? Is that her nice nickname for me? I didn’t think it was all that cute, especially since I’ve been suffering with this for months now. Look, your patients actually have names. If you were a professional, you would try to address your patients by their names. I don’t think she knew my exam room door was open or that I would hear her. Trust me, I don’t want to be sick and have to come to the doctor for it. The last thing I need is to deal with unprofessional doctors that I trust with my health.
Another few minutes passed and she finally came to get me out of the exam room. She apologized for keeping me waiting and led me to her office. Something was definitely different this time. She seemed cold, irritated, not at all the same person I saw three weeks ago. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she shouldn’t take it out on others, least of all her patients.
I made my next follow up with a different doctor. Hopefully she is capable of referring to me by my first name.
