Barbara’s Events By Design

Barbara delivered as promised! I had just finished working with Barbara on my daughter’s sweet 16^th bday bash. Barbara transformed a real ugly community center gymnasium into a beautiful and enchanting masquerade party. During the planning process of the party Barbara kept me focused and in line with details and my objective. When I first set out to plan this party I thought «oh this is easy I can decorate myself» hahahaha that was a joke. There is no way I could have pulled off what Barbara and her crew pulled off. They handled everything… rentals, balloons, decorations, props and she even provided me other vendor recommendations for catering and activities. Barbara was not shy about giving her professional opinion on ideas I had. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Barbara. She will be my go to gal for any event I need to plan in the future. There is no doubt she was worth every penny I spent. Barbara is a true joy of a person to work with.

Our Corporate Event was designed around a Great Gatsby theme. We contracted with Barbara to help us transform the room and create a party ambiance. The ceiling was filled with some pearl and gold colored helium balloons that had sparkling LED streamers. She also made great suggestions on the color of linens. It was the «Wow» factor we were looking for! Everyone was delighted with the decorations Barbara created.

We have been familiar with Barbara’s work for many years, but recently called on her for assistance with my sweet sixteen party. Let me tell you she DELIVERED! This lady goes the extra mile for her clients. we were having a mad hatter tea party theme in my backyard, and this wasn’t intended to be a lavish party, a quaint gathering of my closest friends, but she certainly made it above and beyond your typical teenage party.

The decorations were gorgeous! She provided us with perfect pink fabric drapery (to hide the not-​so-​pretty part of our yard like the trash cans, and the lawn mower) which ended up being the perfect backdrop for my pictures, beautiful ribbon to line our fence with (instead of tacky crêpe paper) and set the tables to perfection. She mapped out the whole yard, into the buffet area, the game area, the table where we would eat, when she was finished it looked like a scene from a Disney movie!
She also worked with us and some of the decorations we had already bought to make sure the colors matched perfectly. In addition, she made sure everything was to our liking before she left my house.
Along with going above and beyond she had a boot on her foot that day as if it had been injured, and brought at no cost extra decorations for the entrance.
My guests were so impressed, as was I with the decorations! I’m definitely planning to calling on Barbara again, I know I won’t be disappointed!

Barbara is a joy to work with, I have contracted Barbara to handle my overflow when I get overbooked. She does a great job, very talented and Fun to work with.
