Bay Mobile Windshield Repair

Got a rock chip less than the size of a dime in my windshield and left Greg a voicemail on Sunday afternoon with my name, number, location, and damage description. Greg called back Monday morning. He was very professional and explained the process he was going to use, what to expect about how it would look after the repair, and exactly how much it would cost over the phone.
The price was reasonable and Greg came to my workplace to fix my rock chip by 1pm. He brought his own towel to protect my car’s paint and was able to fix the crack without having to unlock my car. He was so gentle that he did not even trigger my car’s shock alarm. He called me after finishing the repair and I was very pleased with the results.
There is a lifetime guarantee for his work, too. I will call him again if I ever get another rock chip and wholeheartedly recommend his service! FYI he takes personal check and cash only; no credit cards.

Just wanted to recommend and thank Greg for his awesome advice and information on what I need as a consumer on getting quotes for my windshield. Like many others, I wish I had replaced it when it was a chip instead of a full-​on crack which now needs replacement. Rest assured, the next chip will go to you instead of waiting. Just like everyone else who reviewed, I just want to say that Greg is a true professional.
After leaving him a voicemail, he quickly called me back and confirmed that he was familiar with my problem (windshield noise due to a bad seal), but he actually only fixes cracks. He walked me through the actual service I need (windshield installation and replacement, not repair), and we hung up. After a few minutes I discovered another voicemail from him, saying that he was going through some bad traffic and had to hang up quickly, but wanted to call me back with more info. He gave me a comprehensive breakdown of what I should ask for with the glass shop, and overall had very solid advice. And this is a guy who isn’t even getting my business.
Next time I or anyone I know has a cracked windshield, I know for sure who I’ll be calling.

Greg is an honest man. He will tell you if it’s repairable or not. He will not take advantage of the situation to earn money. I didn’t get my windshield fixed though since he explained that a fix depends on the nature of the chip or crack. Instead, he gave me advice on what I can do with the situation. I will definitely call him for a chip repair as needed or recommend him to anyone.

Courteous, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and prompt. Had a growing windshield chip repaired by Greg. Simply put he did a great job in 30 minutes in the parking lot of my office. You just get the feeling that you can trust him. Highly recommended by me and I’m difficult to impress.

A pretty simple review: I called Greg about 9:00 this morning. He asked me several questions about the rock damage. He said he’d be out to fix it by noon. I just went out to the parking lot to inspect the repair and pay him at 11:52.

Here is my story:
Called Bay Mobile Windshield Repair not reading his add that he does not replace windows, placed a call with no answer; so I thought that was that.
3 minutes later I receive a call and it was Greg which I was a bit surprised because I didn’t leave a message. I went ahead and explained that I only needed a window replacement and not a repair to a windshield. He first apologized for not being able to pick up the call and then said no problem and asked me what year and model my car was and he then offered a referral that he had works with in the past. Neath less to say this referral ended up being very helpful and saved me $$ as to what I had already received a quote for.
This guys is very professional and I will actually be giving him a call to repair my windshield chips on both of my cars. I never cared to repair them but after encountering someone like him I will fix them to give him the business. I will also refer him to anyone needing the type of work he does because he «cares», and those are the people we need and deserve our business.

Very helpful on phone. Also helpful in person. Greg came to my house to fix the rock damage and did a great job. I’d recommend him with all honors (just make sure your crack is not too big; coin sized).

Really a nice guy. Was very courteous on the phone and unfortunately even though we couldn’t do business (as I had a crack and that needs a windshield replacement and he doesn’t do windshield replacement, he does windshield repair for small chips), he gave me useful tips and suggested me the questions that I should ask before I get my windshield replaced !
We need more people like him in the car business to restore the faith in car industry professionals :-) (Not everyone is trying to rip you off !!)

First, I’d like to say I did not purchase any services from Bay Mobile. But this is why I am giving them a 5 start review.
I called, left a message for a quote on my once tiny crack (for weeks) that became a 5 inch crack over night. Got a call back within minutes.
The man was extremely polite. Told me that he didn’t want me to think I was being ignored but he actually has some health issues and will not be working for a while. In fact, he was on his way to the doctor’s! He went on to ask me about my windshield and answered any questions I had. As it turns out, I should’ve gotten it fixed while it was small and not wait til it’s now a large crack. My fault.
He walked me through what type of questions to ask when I get my glass replaced. He did not endorse any other vendors and was super professional.
If I EVER get a crack again, no doubt I’m calling him first!

Greg did a great job. He clearly explains what to expect, what can and can’t be fixed. He arrived on time, finished quickly and the repair came out better than expected. If you don’t want to replace your windshield, this is a great solution!

Greg is an AWESOME man when it comes to windshield rock chips. I called a few other shops before I called him and they all told me to bring my car in for inspection. Greg was, BY FAR, the most knowledgeable and HONEST of the bunch.
He asked a series of questions to determine the worthiness of the repair: car model, location of the crack, how big it is, how long it has been there. Because of his expertise, I learned that it was not worth it for me to get the crack repaired.
I could have easily WASTED $ 45 to get it fixed elsewhere if it weren’t for Greg. He could have made some sleazy cash off of me, but instead, he will be paid with good karma. =)
I also have someone to rely on if I ever need to get new cracks fixed.

Greg came to my house the same day I called him, despite many problems that were beyond his control — and was extremely nice and helpful! My windshield is fixed — he even found a second chip I hadn’t seen and fixed that one too. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic repair! We were saddened when a rock chipped the windshield of a car we just bought. It was a small enough chip that I knew it could be repaired, but I knew it would always be somewhat visible. It is still visible, but barely!
The repair turned out much better than I expected; you have to know where to look in order to see it. Bay Mobile Windshield Repair is really the best there is for this kind of repair. I highly recommend them.

I didn’t get any work done, so I can’t write a review for that, but I did speak to Greg to obtain a quote. I must say that he is super experienced and very knowledgeable. He even went as far as to explain how the repair process works. Very polite, professional and all around nice person! Thanks!

Very friendly but they only do rock-​chip repair, they DO NOT replace the full windshield.
