I’ve just recently remodeled my kitchen w/​Ashkan’s team… these guys are great and i’m really happy w my new kitchen :). His price quote was better than the 2 places that i’ve received even FGY couldn’t beat it. But what i like most about Ashkan’s team is that they can take care the job from A-​Z, from replaced the sink, dishwasher, oven and microwave. and if you’re missing anything he’ ll just buy it for you. THANKS ASHKAN for making it easier for me so that i don’t have to ask my brother in law or hire someone else to do it :-).
So If you’re thinking about remodel your kitchen then you should def. check these guys out first… def. recommended! A++

I had contacted many companies for granite countertop estimates, Ashkan’s offer was by far the lowest. Also, while many installers could not provide all services (for example, some say that you need to contact a plumber to re-​connect the sink after the counters are installed), Ashkan does it all himself. He made the job simple and painless.
Ashkan was also very easy to work with. We communicated by email and telephone and he was always quick to provide me with all of the information that I needed.

We were cheated by Ashkan. One of our friends referred him to us. But he did a worst job. He installed WRONG granite (which is lot cheaper than what we have selected and PAID FOR). We did not like the granite he installed and he has covered some cracks near the kitchen sink area. We paid $ 700 more for the granite we have selected (so we lost $ 700 and got a granite which we did not select). He doesn’t lift OR return my calls (numerous attempts).
I would suggest anyone who is looking for getting their Granite counter top and any kitchen remodel work to look else where. And Don’t trust this guy. Want to make everyone know the fraud we got into. Thanks to Unilocal for this opportunity to post a review.

Ashkan was recommende by my friend. he is knowledgable and he finished everyting on time which was my 1^st req as i had a 2yrs old. One good thing, he doesn’t try to force you to do something for his benefit. His guys are also very nice to work with. He already did very good job @ my other 2 friends homw whom I recommended. I will recommend to anyone who wants to remodel.

Ashkan and California Tile was recommended by a friend and I must say I am totally satisfied by his work. I got three quotes from three different contractors and Ashkan was the lowest of all. We did remodeling of our kitchen and three bathrooms and he did a fab job in just 4 weeks. His work is very good and he is very flexible. He is also very responsive in case anything goes wrong later.
A young professional trying to setup his business is exactly what we were looking for. He is open to suggestions. He also picked up everything from home depot and lowes. We just had to go select and pay and he would do the rest.
Highly satisfied and we highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an economic way to remodel their house. Give him a shout out. He is awesome.

I would like to start off by saying that I’m very pleased with Cali tile, they do professional work and are on time! I own a Tattoo shop in the South Bay, we are going thru an extensive remodel. I called Ashkan from Cali tile, he is very courteous and knowledgeable with all aspects of stone work. They were able to install eight different custom counters for me to exact spec without any error on their part. I highly recommend them for any and all size jobs, residential or commercial. Don’t hesitate with hiring this company you will not be disappointed!

Found California Tile on Craigslist. He specializes in Granite fabrication and installation. His price was reasonable but with a free sink and extra stuff he did, his price was good…
update… he did a good job with initial granite work… however, all 3 sinks leaked. Called him a few times in an attempt to have him come back to fix the leak but couldn’t get him to come back out. I hired a handyman to fix the leaks because I couldn’t wait for him.
3 years later, I am trying to install a new range. It doesn’t fit in the space so I called on Wed and asked if he could come out to cut ¼″ to fit the new range. He said he would come out that Thu or Friday… then nothing, no show, no calls. I called and texted numerous times. He then said he would come out over the weekend. Nothing… urghhh… I have a big range sitting in the middle of the kitchen waiting for him… hired someone else the following week.
very very disappointed!
He’s a nice guy and does good granite work but a part of running a reputable business is in the follow up, which he failed both times.
