I was referred to this Dr. by my OB/GYN when I tested positive for gestational diabetes. She had the WORST attitude of any dr I had ever seen. She always looked like you were bothering her and forget asking her to explain anything. I wanted to understand the different levels blood sugar goes through after eating. She told me not to worry about it and just inject my insulin as needed. I received this answer re several issues. I tried to get another referral but insurance wouldn’t cover it. When I came for a follow up after I had the baby, she didn’t bother to ask about my delivery or baby much less how was I doing. Having gestational diabetes and seeing this witch ever week made for a horrible third trimester. Stay away, I can’t express how unpleasant this woman is.

Seems like just want to move on from one patient to another. There are plenty of good Endocrinologist in Fremont and Dublin area. PAMF may need to improve their hiring standards.

I LOVE this Woman!!! My husband is a diabetic and has been for years. He sees Dr. Chu for his blood pressure issue and Dr. Chakravorty for his diabetes. She is amazing. She holds him accountable, she is encouraging and kept close tabs on him when he had both knee’s replaced. His A1C’s are great and that is because she partners with him to manage his health care needs. She is tough on him when is is messing up and encouraging when he is on track. Words cannot explain how wonderful her and her staff are. My husband will be around a long time because he has a physician that cares. Thank you Dr. C and your amazing staff!!!

For an endocronologist you would think she knows more about things like blood pressure then she does. I was diagnosed with blood pressure at a young age which of course sets red flags for everyone in my family and around me. I was told to see her(not my new cardiologist) first and I was not pleased. She spent a whole year making me do months and months of blood work &24 hour urine samples which ended up costing us a lot of money in the end. At the end of the year, when she had all her information, I came back to her for her just to say to me «I’ve been over all your tests and I really don’t know why you have blood pressure. I’ve never seen tests like these before.» … great. This is when I decided to see someone who does know like a cardiologist who, by the way, figured out what my problem was RIGHT away without doing blood tests or 24 hour urine tests.
