If there was a 0 star, I would be the first one to give her.
She is the worst doctor I have ever seen. She makes patients wait for hours and finally sees them in hurry without properly listening to their concerns.
I had been regularly visiting her for a condition and she was giving me her home made (proprietary) medicine which worsened my condition.
Even when I wanted an emergency letter from her and had to go for another treatment, she made me go to her office for the $ 20 copy instead of faxing the doctor’s office. What a cheap doctor she is. Would not recommend her to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars I would do so. This doctor cares nothing about her patient and only wants to make more and more money. Each time you go to her there is a «cash» component where she sells you supplements. She insists that you come to the office for every question or concern you have so she can bill for it. For example, I wanted routine blood work. I came in for the papers, that was a two minute visit. Then, when the blood work came back fine they made me come to the office to tell me everything was fine. This was at 200 per visit which is ridiculous! One time I was out of state and forgot my meds and she refused to prescribe a weeks worth to get me through until I got back. This was not the kind of meds you should suddenly go off. Then, when I paid what I told them was a reasonable amount for the two office visits (50.00 per visit) they harass you and call your emergency contact. Scared my daughter to death getting a call from my doctors office. If I can save one person from going to this horrible place then I have done my part.

I’m pretty disappointed with how I was treated. I waited a year so I could change my insurance and have Dr. Saxena be my primary care. I liked her approach of functional medicine, but thought she could improve her bedside manner, but never said anything.
After 6 months of being a patient, her husband, who runs the office, gave me some medical advice which I didn’t appreciate since I’d asked to speak with the doctor. He wouldn’t let me ask my question without making an appointment, so I told him I didn’t think it was appropriate for him to be giving me the advice since he wasn’t my doctor. I asked for the doctor to call me and instead, a week later, I got a letter stating she could no longer be my primary care doctor. When I called and asked to speak to her (or him), I never got a call back.
Since she just moved and her new office is more expensive, it is my opinion that I was told to make an appointment so they could bill my insurance for it and get paid, but that’s just my thoughts.
Almost my entire family used her, and we all referred a lot of people to her, but now, she has lost all our business, and we will now make sure everyone knows not to go here.

Dr. Saxena is extremely nice but her office and staff leave a lot to be desired. Also, has shady billing practices. In two short words, «STAY AWAY!»

The worst doctor and office. Even if all the doctors on strike, don’t go to this one.
Her nurse did only BP and weight for my daughter and gave a vaccine and they charged to insurance saying they did physical. You go to any other clinic and see how physical is done; they take urine sample, hearing test, vision test, if needed draw blood for testing. This clinic did nothing.
Also, specialist on double charging. They will take money from the insurance and cash from you. I had paid $ 520 and again asking for more, but I checked with my insurance and they told me that I should ask for refund since insurance had paid them in full.
There is no co-​payment for physical and vaccination for our insurance since the office ladies made me pay co-​payment and other payments.

Doctor is friendly, staff is horrible. Upon my second visit they asked if I would pay an «outstanding balace». This balance was supposed to be covered under my insurance, so I had to make serveral frantic calls to my insurance company. After tracing back thier records informed me they never recieved a bill in the first place. Turns out the front desk never submitted the claim.

1 star for doctor. She is money minded. All she wants is money money money.

I agree with the review from Sonja G. The Doctor is extremely nice but the administrative staff is incompetent and lacks good customer service. It ruins the entire experience and makes you switch like I have!
When I visited her months ago, I was just waiting in line by myself with no one in front of me and no one acknowledged me until 10 – 15 minutes later.
Today, I called to have my address updated on my bill. Instead of taking 15 seconds to write down my address, the lady took down my number so that she can call me back. The time it took to take down my number would almost be the same as taking down my address and then updating it later.
Isn’t this common sense? Two hours later and she has yet to call me back. I’m so upset that I decided to go on to Unilocal the bad service! Find another doctor or if you want, experience the bad service for yourself.

The doctor is fine – actually she is terrific and very sweet– but the front desk staff back in 2007 – 2008 was very incompetent. I received an e-​mail from a patient of this doctor to give her a try again and who knows, may be I would. A three star review is not «bad» it’s A-​ok :)

Initially when I met the doc in 2005, there was a time when there was more personal touch to this doctor’s practice but the novice staff can be rude to long-​term patients and the doctor is too busy to return call of her patients.
After working with this doctor for three years, I decided to switch because I called three days in a row and they would not allow me to speak with the doctor. I wanted to update her on my health condition as reviewed by my specialist and she would not return my call. She had ordered blood-​works and other tests for me and I wanted her to share it with the specialist ASAP – but the front desk staff (Rhea) would neither take down my detailed message not allow me to speak with the doctor. That is after the fact that she is my «pcp»…the last thing I want is a «super busy» PCP and «super attituded» front desk staff at the PCP’s office.
