The best service one can ask for… We took our desktop to get to it fixed ‚. Two other places could not figure out why my computer would not come back from sleep mode … Musafa was able to get it diagnosed and fix it (the mother board) in a timely fashion … We picked it up today. My husband is very happy to have his computer back. We recommend it 100%. We had some bad experience in the past. But Mustafa and the other young man were very professional. We wish them best of luck.

I can’t express my gratitude towards the owner Mustafah. The service was absolutely amazing, and efficient. I was having issues with my Dell Inspiron 13 and he repaired it for me within 3 days which is really fast compared to other places. If you’re having any computer problems, he’s your go to guy.

I brought my laptop into Fasthuma on Wednesday to have the memory and hard drive placed and it was completed by Friday. The quality of the work is very good, and the owner Mustufa (I’m sorry if I misspelled it) was very very friendly. Unfortunately after I got it home I noticed the laptop was getting very hot so I checked under the laptop and saw that the fan on it was not spinning. I called in on Saturday and they told me they’d fix the broken fan free of charge. I got it back Monday and was very impressed with the quick turn around time. I have another laptop with a broken charge port that I will def be bringing back to get fixed in the near future. Thank you very much for the good service.

If I could give them ten stars I would.
My aging Dell XPS hard drive finally went into the blue screen of death. I was terrified I had lost precious photos and documents as I had been waiting since February to purchase a new PC when the owner told me to ‘wait’ until Windows 10 came out. I barely made it.
When my new Dell arrived (btw…Windows 10 is the bomb!!) I took my old and new into Fasthuma, completely scared the old drive could not be saved. It took him 10 days of patient, nonstop work to rescue and transfer everything (my hard drive was badly corrupted)…the owner is truly, hands down the best in the biz. On top of that, he is incredibly nice and very fair on his pricing.
All this only cost me $ 125, anywhere else would have cost me double and he waited a few days after I checked everything before recycling my old Dell. Worth every penny to have this level of service and professionalism.
As long as I live in the Bay Area, Fasthuma will be my only choice for IT servicing

They fixed a software problem by reloading the OS! Unfortunately, they did NOT backup my data and therefore, I lost everything on my drive. I had a backup that was 5 months old so I lost quite a bit. They diagnosed the problem as a Hard disk failure, but that was not the case. They should have called me when before reloading the OS. We could have performed the backup in safe mode. Very disappointed…

I took my 9-​year-​old iMac desktop computer here because the screen was broken. He special ordered the part needed and fixed it very quickly! I was able to approve the fix using an e-​mail, very convenient! Very friendly service. Will use him again for other computer repairs!

Had a great experience here. My Asus G74 Laptop had a virus issue and needed to have the OS reinstalled. Not only was I provided with direct communication from Mustafa on the status of the repair but my computer was in proper working condition within 2 days.
My reason for this 5 star review however, is not for the service that I was provided that day, but the continued service and follow up I received from Mustafa and his associates. Not only does Fasthuma IT do computer work but also, they actually care about their customers.

We recently had a computer with a corrupted hard drive. In a panic, we called Fasthuma Computer Repair based on their Unilocal rating. We were not disappointed! Mustafah did a wonderful job walking us through our options. In the end, we decided to buy a new computer, and he was able to retrieve all our old files — what a relief! He and his staff were very patient while we looked into our options (new drive, or replace the computer), and held onto our old computer during this time. When we received our new computer, they promptly worked on transferring our files. Their estimate for all their work and advice was very reasonable, and their friendly and helpful customer service was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this business, and they are now our «go to» for computer repairs. Thank you for such great service!

I took my Asus laptop over there after looking through Unilocal reviews. The outcome of their service certainly reflected the reviews. I took my computer in for two separate occasions. I thought my problem might’ve been software based, but figured out it was insulation and that alot of dust accumulated. The second time he ordered a new motherboard to fix a problem with the power slot after informing the price differential between repairing the slot and ordering the board (I decided on the board since the difference was barely around 10 dollars. Might as well get a new part).
His customer service is great and he takes his time to evaluate the problem and provided different cost options as to how to resolve the issue before making any repairs. If the problem persists, he’ll fix it at no charge or maybe just cost of the parts.
Unless your laptop/​pc is under warranty, your best bet is taking it here. Since he’s the owner and only repairman, don’t place too much expectations on speed of service. In my opinion, if I can it fixed at a reasonable price and he keeps me updated regularly, that’s good enough for me.

I don’t recommend this place for you to go. Although I got my computer fixed finally, it was after more than 2 weeks. Also the part replaced for me isn’t a new one, but charged me with the full price. The total charging isn’t either reasonable. I definitely won’t go there.

This is the only place I will entrust my computer repair. Mustafa did an execellent job with my pc that died on me. He cleaned it after replacing the damage parts and his pricing were very reasonable because I checked with other place just to cover my bases. All in all I would give more than 5 stars if Unilocal would let me, but 5 is the max here, so I hope this would suffice. I highly recommend going to Mustafa for any laptop or pc concerns because in my book, I think he is one of the best if not «The Best!»

Writing this review for all Unilocaler’ s to know if you are facing issues with laptop Fasthuma is the place you should be at & Mustafa is a guy you must meet. I went with a destroyed office hard drive with some very important data in it & the way I received the customer service impressed me a lot. Even on their off time Mustafa was kind enough to understand & accepted to fix the office CPU & did a BINGO job.
I will definitely come back again if I have future issues with my computer or else would recommend Fasthuma Comuper Repair.

I chose Fasthuma based on Unilocal reviews. I’m glad I did. Now it is my duty to post a review thanking the Unilocalers for exchanging info re business on Unilocal.
Thank you, Mustafah, for excellent and courteous service. You took your time to communicate with me and answered all my questions. My 3 year old MacBook had a failed hard drive. He texted me to give me the diagnostics and the price. Texted me to say its ready for pick up. Price was appropriate.
Mustafah mentioned he would text me within 24 hours, but it took him a little longer. It does not matter, since he did get the job done. Careful diagnostics with excellent service, I can’t complain.
My laptop is good as new, and I do recommend Fasthuma Computer Repair. It is located inside a dry cleaning service in a quiet shopping area where parking is abundant.

Mustafah was very friendly and personable when I took my netbook in there for repair.
The diagnostic fee was waived when I chose to have it repaired there. The repairs took a day longer than originally quoted (a Tuesday instead of a Monday), but I wasn’t able to pick up the netbook until the end of the week anyway.

Bought my Lenovo Thinkpad after the HD crashed. They were more than 2 weeks late than the date they quoted. It was me who was constantly calling them for updates.
They finally replaced the HD. The new HD crashed within a month!!!
So after $ 200 and late delivery I got a crappy repair. I would stay away from this place!

My barely 1 year old laptop’s screen crapped out on me after a bell hop dropped my laptop bag when the handle on the bag broke. My computer screen looked washed out and overly bright.
I found this place on Unilocal to see if I can avoid buying a brand new laptop. So before I received any sort of service from Fasthuma Computer Repair, I was told that I would be charged $ 40 for them to diagnose my computer (compensation for their time and efforts), but that $ 40 will be WAIVED if I use them to fix my computer.
Turns out that my LCD screen needed to be replaced due to physical trauma. I was told that a new replacement LCD screen would cost $ 60 and my grand total would be around $ 145 (after taxes and labor fee). I bought a Unilocal deal on Fasthuma’s Unilocal page ($ 10 for $ 20 worth of service), so my out of pocket cost for fixing my laptop was $ 135. Took a few days for the LCD to be ordered, but I got my laptop back within a week.
Some may argue that I should just shell out another $ 100 for a brand new laptop, but why would spend another $ 100 when my current laptop is fairly new and perfectly fine to use. I can do so many other things with that $ 100.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
1. Fasthuma is located inside a dry cleaners, next to the Japanese restaurant
2. I had an extremely positive experience with Mufasa (the owner?) and can tell that he is an honest, hardworking man.
3. It’s been a month and my laptop is still as good as new! I’ll definitely be more careful about handling it in the future.
