Four Seasons Acupuncture

I came in here and I was greeted immediately. This place specializes in acupressure. The therapist who did my back was to my surprise very good. Definitely better than other spa massage places I’ve been to. I would be coming back.

Just bad. I have bruised on the spot that he put needle on. It stay on the spots for more than few weeks. It seems abnormal.

I have the neck pain for a long time. Sometime I even couldn’t turn my head. Dr. Kalvin Ma just palpated my neck, then he found my point of cervical dislocation. After the first treatment, the pain reduced 80% and I sleep all through the night. That’s wonderful! I couldn’t remember my last time I slept the whole night. Great doctor! Highly recommended!

The Dr here is great I went to him with severe pain in my right hip area sustained from car accident many years ago, the ortho doctor wants to replace my hip, I’ve opted for acunpuncture and after five brief visits the inflammation has been reduced the pain is very minimal and I can work all day on my feet. Upon completion of my treatment the massage therapist comes in a gives an outstanding massage over the treated area, she can provide advice on herbal remedies as well as she is trained as Herbalist and Acunpuntist. Combined these two specialist will have you, performing at your best, Thanks Doc and Shirley

I have gotten a lot of acupuncture treatments from other people so out of all the acupuncturists that I’ve gone to, Kalvin is still my best choice. What makes him unique is that he goes the extra mile to help you and he is very knowledgeable in chinese medicine.
I like to do a lot of reading up on chinese medicine and have plenty of questions that can’t be googled. The other acupuncturists that I’ve went to could not answer my random, but earnest questions like, «If blood is related to hair and if women lose blood every month, why do men get gray hair (and lose hair) faster than women?» When I heard his answer, I knew I struck gold.
This is his passion and he has mentioned that he continually studies chinese medicine on his own as a hobby. Knowing this, I can trust that I’m in good hands when I get acupuncture treatments or herbal prescriptions.
Another thing is that his friendly demeanor makes me feel comfortable enough to communicate to him if I don’t feel the herbs are working or if the last acupuncture treatment wasn’t that great; and he will adjust the treatment accordingly.
I’ve learned that communication is the most important thing with finding a good acupuncturist (as I’ve seen quite a few). A good acupuncturist tries to figure out your constitution, what works for you, what doesn’t, and give you the best treatment based on their findings. As a patient, I need to give feedback to help them find the right treatment or prescription.
I feel that Kalvin really tries to discover the best way to treat you.

I have sciatica for the past six years. It got worse after having my second child. In desperation to relieve my pain, I purchased a consultation with three acupuncture sessions at Four Seasons Acupuncture through Groupon. It was my first time going today, and I have to say it was a great experience. The Acupuncturist, Kalvin was nice and thorough with what the steps were in receiving my session as to the outcome. He also recommended and addressed my lower back pain, as well with nutritional diet/​care for post delivery of my child due to lack of sleep from breast feeding. All in all, I am going back to have additional care because I am satisfied.

Received a call today from this place saying its in regards to the Unilocal review. Then said I used Groupon and paid… and then hung up. I didn’t say a word just the «hello» upon phone pickup. Initially, after she said this is Four Seasons Acupuncture, I thought she was going to ask about my bruises and rash… but guess not. Not only do they apparently don’t care about their customers’ well being, they tracked me down to vent about a review? Crazy! After the call I checked Unilocal and a random 5* review magically appears from a 1 review «customer», LOL. If I can give negative stars, this place would definitely deserve it.

went in to give acupuncture a try for my lower back pain problem and was surprised by how effective it is to stop the pain. The doctor also explained to me in great details of the my problem, what could have caused it, and what could be done to it. Now I am in the 2^nd week of my treatment plan and I have already feeling much better. Can’t wait to complete my treatment and get back to my normal life.

Yesterday was my first day coming there with my mom, which was kind of a surprise because she had only told me the day before. This made me a little puzzled and put my guard up, so I apologize to Dr. Jay if I seemed a little rude during our discussion. He was glad to show me all the different herbs he used as well as how each person’s treatments are unique. He also gave me helpful advice about how to treat my acne.
After my initial consultation, Shirley gave me my first ever professional facial. I had no expectations going in but boy, that was one heck of an experience! Although it took a little while to get through everything, she helped clear my clogged pores (which was thorough but a bit of a painful process). When she was finished, she put on a seaweed mask to help treat the redness and irritation I was feeling. My face is still in the healing process after her treatment but I’m optimistic my skin will get better!

I went here on a groupon for facial and continued with them. Also brought my husband here who’s Asian and swear by their acupuncture treatment and herbal medicine for allergy relief and lethargy. They are a one stop shop for health and wellness offering facial, massage, herbal medicine and acupuncture. The massage is deep tissue and very good fir people with active lifestyle. I recommend this place

The acupuncturist, Kalvin, on site surely knows what he is doing as he made my chronic lower back pain go away in just 3 treatments and I have been seeing several chiropractors and having massages but to no avail. Kalvin also has a wealth of knowledge both in acupuncture and herbal medicine.

I came to get skincare treatment last week before my friend’s wedding and I got immediate result. Even my guy buddies noticed the difference. Thanks to Shirley’s great skills and good eyes, she cleared up all my clogged pores painlessly. My face got brighter and smoother right after the treatment. It was very relaxing as well throughout the treatment.
Other pluses about this place besides great service –their skincare products are mostly organic and priced reasonably. The treatment rooms are spacious and comfortable, not like other cramped facial places where you could hear other people talking. I appreciate the complete privacy of each room and its soothing music.
This is a little gem I have discovered and would definitely come back again.

We both agreed to give a five-​star rating not just because of their services, but have them being passionate and professionally taken cared.
