Even though the business was started in 2006, we have over 20 years of landscaping experience mostly in residential work. Started in San Jose and now expanded to Fremont, Newark, Union City & Hayward.

I feel so lucky that we met this team. The father and sons did a great job.
The second weekend project was to remove a root, $ 200. They were here early, but I was not home. So they fixed my neighbor’s sprinkler system fist. After that, they asked if they can get some lunch before starting my job. A total delay of 1 hour made me a little bit not so happy.
For the root, at first they quoted $ 150, then changed to $ 200. They said they didn’t know what’s inside and how hard it would be unless open it. They spent less than 1 hour to remove the root. Looks like it was easier than they expected.
While they were removing my root, I was fixing my sprinkler system. I found 1 tube break. I asked them if they can fix it and how much. They said $ 10, materials included. They fixed it immediately! What a great job.

These guys absolutely DO NOT do a good job in maintenance. My whole backyard is full of weeds because of their lack of general competency and abilities to do their work. And if you ask them to fix it they will ask you to pay for it. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
I have also filed a complaint against them with the BBB. Case # 57 308 312. Reach out to me if you have any more questions about their service (absolutely willing to give you more details)

I really would have liked a chance to talk to them about my backyard project but no one is answering and I can’t even leave a msg, so I think that’s no bueno…: (

Guerrero Landscaping is physically close to my property and had good reviews so I thought I would try them. In my voicemails I decribed the work. It’s probably a $ 4K — $ 5K job. However, per another review, I also called and left messages several times. They never responded. Are they still in business? If they are, not responding to a customer who calls several times is not professional.

We used these guys for twice monthly yard maintenance for quite a while. They are very reliable and do a decent job. They’d show up every time they said they would and were easy to communicate with. They did an «ok» job on the yard work itself — you just have to be extremely specific. And they’d correct anything and fix anything you weren’t happy with if you just point it out. We’re tried out several different landscaping guys for maintenance, and these were the best in terms of communicating and reliability. Quality of work was on par if not a little better than the others. Their pricing was about average (maybe a little high) to other quotes we got. We do the yard ourselves now, but have called them back occasionally for other 1 time landscaping/​yard jobs & they’ve done a good job. I’d recommend them (at least get a quote) if you are looking for reliable/​decent yard maintenance.

I was excited to find this company on Unilocal especially after reading the good reviews. However my experience has not been so pleasant. I called them to get a quote on twice monthly maintenance, they came out to assess, called me and gave me a price, and I said great let’s do it and I haven’t heard from them since. I’ve left several messages with no return call.

We hired Guerrero & Sons to do a move-​out clean up of our back yard which, due to a foot injury, my fiancé had been unable to maintain for some time and was quite an overgrown mess. Talk about above and beyond expectations! They came out the day after we’d agreed to their quote and got started. Father, one son and an obviously long-​term employee. These guys were like poetry in motion, dividing up the yard and each taking an area. In four hours, they had made amazing headway. Came back today to finish the job and we could not be more pleased. They are professional, hard working, courteous and polite. Wow! Just noticed they even weeded my potted plants on the deck! Seriously? LOVE you guys! I’ve never experienced such an excellent landscaping company.

I asked Guerrero & Sons to do a bid on a property I manage in Union City. They provided a prompt written bid via email. When I gave the go ahead they set up the appointment quickly even though they were busy due to the recent storms. They showed up EXACTLY on time and did an awesome job for a yard cleanup and debris haulaway.
I would highly recommend them: they are professional, affordable, prompt and very friendly.

I am very pleased with Guerrero & Sons when I called them to give me an estimate for sprinkler system that had a leak somewhere. 4 people showed up, very professional, pegged down the problem within minutes. Their price was very reasonable. They really know what they are doing. I definitely recommend them, great service and will probably call them for landscape work. Very easy to talk and work with. Impressive. If you need anything done with the yard, give them a call!
