Hilltop Gifts

I ordered three Alcapassos (adorable plush alpacas from Japan) online from Hilltop Gifts, and I experienced seriously awesome customer service from their team. I nerdily requested that they choose alpacas with the cutest faces, since these are birthday/​Christmas presents, and I’m weirdly concerned about stuffed animals having wonky faces. They e-​mailed me and not only assured me that they’d pick the cutest alpacas, but also offered to include a hand-​written birthday note and to gift wrap the items. They shipped my order the same night I ordered them. I’m very impressed and would shop at their physical store if I didn’t live all the way in Los Angeles! Will definitely be ordering from them online in the future.

Great customer service, I’ve been going here lately and the lady is dope af and willing to help (no wonder this store has 5 stars) Her recommendations are useful and is product knowledgeable. I like how she gives me feedback on the things she previously purchases so I know what I want and don’t want.

Neat little store with some interesting stuff. My daughter loved this store. The prices are also very affordable. The owner is very charming and helpful as everyone said here.

I’ve been to the other locations in Fremont and Milpitas, but this is by far my favorite. The other Hilltop Gift on Warm Springs is a little cramped, while this one has plenty of space to comfortably wander around. The presentation of the items is also more organized at this store than others, making me feel like I want to buy everything I see compared to the other stores. The girls who work there are very helpful.
I ended up buying two folders (they had a bogo for their back to school sale) and some cute erasers. I will probably come back for pencil pouches or air fresheners next time.
Ps. It’s located right next to T4 milk tea and some other dining places, so it’s fun to go after getting a little something to eat :)

Same owner as Hilltop Gifts. I’m not sure if the young girl working here is related to the owner. Hilltop Corner doesn’t have as much selection as Hilltop Gifts when it comes to figurines but they almost have similar items. If you don’t find something here then you can go to Hilltop Gifts which isn’t far. I think they also have another location in Cupertino. I did notice everything in the store was a $ 1 more but its not much. I’ll come back again soon.

I did not realize they have a 2^nd location but it just keeps getting better. They have a pretty cool car accessories section. I was so happy to find out I do not have to go all the way to Japantown in SF or Cupertino to get these same premium air fresheners. They are also half the price compared to the other stores. Expect the same great service as the other Warm Spring store since this a family business.

Recommend: Buy cute gifts for the 9 year old in your life… or the one who acts 9.
Avoid: Cute overload.
I visited this cute new shop last time I went to visit the Bay Area. I was looking for a gift and took my time browsing through the explosion of cute-​ness in the shop. The shop manager Michelle was super helpful, and gave some great suggestions for gifts. I ended up purchasing a blanket that folds into a pillow in the shape of a bear. It was cute, a little too cute, but I thought it would make a unique gift. Michelle was nice enough to wrap the gift for me in shiny wrapping paper, and put it in another cute Sanrio bag. Just too much cute. Too much.
I also was able to snag some nice mechanical pencils and a car freshener in the boys cool corner. Overall, I would recommend this shop for some quick gift ideas for the people who love cute things in your life.

I love supporting local businesses– especially ones that I would for sure go back to and are honest to their customers. Hilltop Corner is pretty much the place where every kid dreams of getting stuck in. As for an adult, you can definitely find one (or two) excuse (s) to buy something just for kicks. Once you step in, you want to look at every nook and cranny because it has a great selection of gifts and stationary for all age groups! Plus, the owner of the business, Michelle, is super sweet, has the warmest smile, and will help you find anything and everything you are looking for. 5 stars– I will definitely be coming back here.

They have a cute selection of Sanrio items. My daughter purchased some craft sticks to fold stars out of and the young fellow working at the counter showed us how to fold stars. He was very helpful and attentive. Great service! Will definitely return when we come back to get our smashed avocado fix from next door!
