Isomedia offers a range of services, from data duplication to packaging of all sorts. The array of services is quite impressive. Sadly their execution is not.
I ordered a duplication run of Blu-​Ray DVDs, including printing on the disks and a printed insert in a standard blu-​ray case. The pricing was more expensive than I anticipated, but I figured it was worth it if the quality was good. I toured the plant and it appeared they were able to deliver.
I submitted the art work and received and approved the digital proofs of the artwork. It looked good. However, when the job was completed, the colors of the case did not match the colors of the disk. They were supposed to match, to create a unified packaging experience. I expressed my objection and asked them to see if they could correct the case inserts so that they would at least match the disks. They said they would look into it.
Weeks went by. I finally called them and told them that I needed to pick the disks at a certain date, and they would fix it if they could. They would look into it.
When I went to pick up the disks of course they were not fixed. They said they would look into it, but I don’t think they did. I ended up with mismatched packaging.
At the end of it, they admitted that they were unable to match packaging with disk printing. It was beyond their capabilities to create a complete media packaging solution that matched. I was pretty surprised since I thought that was a core competency of the company.
I think the issue is that when they create digital proofs, they are not performing any device profiling, and that their disk printer is not calibrated with their case insert printer. So even though the proofs look good, the colors you get are all over the place. They should really know how to do these things.
I gave them two stars because the disks were technically fine, and they did delivery the initial job when promised, albeit wrong.
I would not recommend their printing and packaging services for something intended for commercial distribution or to represent professional levels of quality.

iso is the best! have been working with Howard and charmaine and tam for a few projects and they helped me out a bunch on this past recent project, long story short, there was an error in our manufacturing for the disc, so we were able to obtain discs with a circumference of .1mm smaller, which normally it wouldn’t matter except for the project we did it had to be exact. Howard went the whole mile with research on disc size variations depending on the mold from different countries, it was crazy. we figured it out, the disc fits amazing, couldn’t be any happier

I consider myself very lucky that I found ISO Media for my 1000 DVD replication order. I was very close to placing a DVD order with an online company based in NJ, however, ISO Media offered a MUCH better deal (plus, no shipping fee).
ISOMedia was also flexible with allowing me to customize my order with a full-​color, 32 page DVD booklet. I visited their factory location in Fremont, CA several times and was quite impressed with their operations. Tam, the graphics designer, printed out test sheets of my CMYK artwork and worked with me to ensure that I was satisfied with the final product. No way would I be able to get that level of customer service with an online DVD company!
I also worked with Howard (the owner) who was always very prompt with answering my questions. I was very confident in choosing his company after I spoke with him on the phone for the first time. He’s very knowledgeable in the business — ask him for a tour of the factory!
As an indie filmmaker, I take pride in the products I release. I highly recommend other Bay Area media producers and filmmakers to work with this East Bay company. They have many customers, but they really give you first-​rate treatment and they always want to make sure you’re happy with the end product. I will definitely be coming back for my second order!

Great experience with Isomedia, their website had all the information I needed and when I filled out the request form I was contacted quickly. I was updated on my order through the whole process and was absolutely thrilled to get my printed CDs!

Very impressed with this company. Customer service is outstanding and they work fast. And the price is fair — less than half of what chains charge for simiiar DVD copies. I did everything over the phone but they may as well have been next door to me — that’s how easy they were to work with. If I ever need DVD/​CD copies, this is who I will call.

I spoke with Charmaine, whose voice was as sweet as her service. It was the holidays and I wasn’t expecting fast results. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick turn around and phenomenal customer service.
I was ordering 150 duplicated audio printed-​on discs and needed them within a few days. They made that happen and the price was fair.
Charmaine was very patient helpful in answering my questions about graphics specifications (I’m not a graphic designer) and went above and beyond when it came to their end of the work. They were able to begin work by getting what they needed on the phone and trusted me to send them what they needed for official purposes.

We used IsoMedia to silkscreen some CDs as well as make some DVD inserts. On both occasions everything was done perfectly and professionally. For the CDs it was kind of last minute and Charmaine helped me get the job done ASAP. Since they are in the Bay Area the ground shipping is also pretty quick. The second job for the inserts came out really great as well. Very professional and high quality printing and quality of CDs. The pricing is competitive for the quality of work done.

ISO has helped us since 2004. As an artist/​label owner they basically helped us cut out the middle man to get our work done. They’ve always come through for us and now that we’ve since started our small media company, we consider them a sister company to us here at 408INC. We regularly refer each other work to help keep our networks strong in a business that is not doing so well. A lot of artists owe their starts/​first albums to the help they received from this company. Thank You ISO!

i pressed over 40 albums at isomedia inc i had no problems my artwork was always on point jobs were done before the due date very quick they even mail my product to retail stores there very nice company wouldnt use any other company for cd dvd replication even the duplication is fast turn around got cds back in a day for a show it was 500 promo cds there hands on with your your project start to finish the best!!!
