First time here we tried the Red Miso Ramen, first off not so pro about ramen but they use thin noodles but it didn’t affect the overall flavor of the dish. Also a 3 item bento box. Service was okay? There was one server at the time so it’s understandable.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. They have a good variation of dishes. Sushi was delicious and very friendly staff. I stopped with a friend before heading to the A’s game. We didn’t have a long wait, which was great because we were starving. Food was fresh and easy on the wallet.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner and place was empty. There was only one other table. Service is fine considering there were like 5 servers to serve us and one other table. However, food took a long time to come out. Ordered the carpaccio, avocado roll, ocean roll, charashi, and 49ers roll. Capaccio was ok. The avocado was lame. The server told me it was one little ball. Came out as two giant balls. One with old tasting spicy tuna chunks and avocado on top. The other with just artificial crab meat and avocado on top. The ocean and 49ers roll were just kind of meh. Fish wasn’t fresh, also had peices of scales in it… which was kind of weird. I’ve never had sushi where I had to spit out scales. The food took so long, we cancelled the chirashi. I did use my Unilocal check in for a mochi, which is basically store bought ice cream mochi. OveralI, this place was very disappointing. I probably wouldn’t come back again or recommend the raw fish here due to it tasting unfresh and the bits of scale in it.

Been here many times. Like their weekly specials, not as boring as other sushi place, always has new items and fish of the season. It’s a small cosy restaurant around 10 to 12 tables plus sushi bar. Staff are friendly and if you don’t what to order just ask the Sushi Chef or order Omakase, it never disappoint me. To round it up, it a nice sushi place, reasonable price and decent food, some time food will come out a little bit slow if there are many tables order at the same time but I am willing to wait course I don’t want pre cut fish or pre make rolls like other sushi place.

Small local sushi place with great customer service. Sushi was pretty good. Had the red dragon, wish the spicy tuna was spicier. The free green tea ice cream was yummy. Greatly appreciated their service with accommodating the children. Definitely be back!

After seeing some pics on Unilocal I decided to give Kajiki Sushi a try. It’s located in the now very popular Lucky Shopping center with Kung Fu Kitchen and Ping’s Bistro. The restaurant itself is small and busy. We got there at 8 pm and thru out the night there were at least 3 screaming or crying kids. The menu has your normal Japanese faire. We ordered the sashimi omakase $ 40, along with negiri ama ebi, uni, abalone and 3 oysters. Oysters came with ponzu and sirracha sauce on it. The sirracha sauce was overpowering making each Oyster very spicy. Ama Ebi, Uni and Abalone were good with the exception of the sushi rice. The rice was way soggy(too much water), it was one solid piece. No sushi rice vineger taste. The sashimi came with butterfish, snapper, salmon, yellowtail and toro. The toro was the highlight of the meal super fatty and melt in your mouth good. The remaining cuts were run of the mill and not note worthy. Since, we were served by the Manager/Owner the service was good. Complimentary mochi ice cream with Unilocal check in. $ 89 before tip. Parking could be a challenge with the number of popular eateries next to each other.

Ordered the ninja fried, Hama Hama, blue fin O-Toro(melts in your mouth), Hamatchi Kama, & a few other favorites. All so good & filling! Attentive service. Another plus— open late perfect after DUBSGAME right off the free way was pretty easy to find.

So I’ve been a consistent patron of Kajiki for almost a year now. I love the ratio and quality of fish they offer to price. The chirashi is a great deal and I sometime order it in place of sashimi platter. The only turn offs I’ve been experiencing lately is the service. The servers are always the same for the past year, and the girl that works there isn’t very bright and its became more apparent recently. I called in a month ago asking who they use for their delivery service, and she tells me they don’t deliver. Mind you, I had just ordered take outs two weeks prior to that phone call and noticed a signage for«foodcrave» out at their window as the vendor that does their delivery. I explained to her the sign that I had seen but forgot the name. She says no and hangs up. The manager calls back a few mins later saying they will deliver if we order over $ 100 or I can use foodcrave. We returned two weeks after that to dine in. At the end I noticed that they had a Unilocal check in offer for free mochi. I asked her if I can use it and she looks at me and said its only for one. I said that was fine as my bf and I were going to share anyways. She ask for my phone and goes to press«redeem». Of course after that, it disappears, what else was supposed to happen? She proceeded to search for that offer again for 5 mins on my phone, while grabbing the phone from me. This has never happen to me before as usually the offer pops up, merchant or I would hit redeem and that’s the end of it. I was confused and thought maybe I can find a redeemed offer. I’m not sure if she was confused or did not see herself pressing redeem or just straight up forgot she had pressed redeem. She gave up after 5 mins and left and came back with the ice cream. She mumbled something about letting it slide this time as she was setting it on the table… wait what now?! The mochi ice cream is store bought, so at cost would be $ 1, I don’t think $ 1 was worth that charade. I told my bf that we are only ordering take outs or delivery from them from now on. Service was never impressive except with the older gentleman whom is the manager. The younger girl and guy does their job with mediocrity and we never had any issue. Shrug, I like their sushi too much to give up on them entirely.

We just love this place, both of my kids are a huge fan of their Tonkatsu Ramen which is always fresh, always flavorful and never taste like adding crazy amount of MSG or added to Super MSG that makes the soup taste super strong but with a price to pay with your health. I like it now that they offer the new medium spicy to burn your mouth off 3 — 5 pepper hot red miso ramen, my wife is a huge fan with it, on the 2 – 3 pepper version, it has enough heat not to over power the soup. There a 5 pepper version is super hot, the owner have told us that it took a guy almost an hour to finish because it was so firery hot. The restaurant also offer high end fish from Japan too, Shimachi is the upscale version of Hamachi with a lot more fattier piece, it’s makes a huge difference. We also tried their A5 Kobe beef, super succulent, super delicious it is a must try !!! Ninja Fries is a must try also, it’s such a happy appetizer and good with beer. This joint just keeps on coming out with new stuff, another one of our favorite is the mushroom soup, very good comfy food. We go to their Friday and Saturday late night with 20% off is such a good deal. People need to come more often. I did try couple of nearby sushi joint to compare. both are just not that good I won’t save names but one mix nasty combo together and give it a fancy name and hope no one notices, the other puts way too much sauce on their sushi rolls making it soggie and wet and the wire on a aluminum wrap sushi is not impressive at all. We tried many of their fresh fish from Japan, it is soooo good, I’m a fan for sure !!

The great white is just so so. Does seared salmon if you are willing to wait for 15 minutes, they will cut the belly. The pizza is not bad. O Toro belly is not bad. The wagyu steak was cut too thick.

Love coming over here with my coworkers. The staff is really friendly and the food is really good. They already know us and it’s such a welcoming environment. They also have karaōke which was fun to have at my friends bday dinner there. Favorite foods has gotta be their ramen and their tempura cheesecake! You must have the tempura cheesecake!

Came in on a Sunday to grab a quick takeout meal. I’m so happy they have an online ordering system. I ordered the chirashi and the uni nigiri. The restaurant itself is located in a plaza. Since it was a weekend the parking in the plaza was a struggle and I had to circle a few times before I got a spot. The restaurant itself was really empty which was surprising because the employees were nice and the sushi is decent. I got the chirashi and an order of the uni nigiri. The chirashi was a great deal! It came with 12 slices of fish + 2 pieces of tamago and the slices were thick. I usually prefer thinner slices but I was definitely impressed by the quantity. The selection was your usual tuna, salmon, hamachi, albacore but it included butterfish(which is common but less common) and what I believe was kinmedai(not a typical chirashi item which was great). The sushi ranged from good and fatty to average and slightly fishy but as a whole the quality was decent and for the price ~$ 15 I would not hesitate to get it again.(4⁄5) The uni nigiri wasn’t amazing but it satisfied my cravings. It didn’t have a completely clean taste but the texture was creamy like it should be and the ratio of uni to rice was great.(3.5÷5) Overall, Kajiki is a solid sushi spot. Between the decent prices, nice service, and the online ordering system, I will definitely be back.

Wow! This place is amazing! The food is top notch and I’m a chef! I had the chefs special sashimi and every bite was decadent. I also had the baked scallop roll and it was baked to perfection. If Unilocal had a 10 star review, I’d give it a 50 star review thank you to our host and waitress. You made our first visit very pleasant.

I haven’t ever noticed or been to this sushi restaurant before. The reviews seemed alright so my friend and I came on a Thursday night. There were maybe a couple other groups of patrons that were eating already. This made the place not too loud and not too quiet. This is the kind of ambiance I prefer. I don’t have to raise my voice to talk to my friend sitting 2 feet from me. I personally think this is a nice place. It does deserve some more recognition though. On Thursday night, the waitress told us that their special rolls were buy 1 get 1 half off! Which was amazing. I’m not sure what times this promotion starts or ends though. I ended up getting the tuna deluxe($ 10.95) and the lion king($ 9.95). The tuna deluxe was nice and tasty and pretty thick. The only thing I would comment on this roll was that there were a couple slices of tuna that were very thin and small. Not a big deal though. The tuna was soft and tasty. The lion king roll was pretty big when it came to our table. I mean, it was THICK. No complaints here. It was tasty and saucy with a proportionate amount of everything. The two rolls I ordered for myself ended up being more than I could finish so my friend helped me eat some of it. My total at the end basically came out to be around $ 15(excluding tax+tip) since my lion king roll was half off :)! Our waitress was quick and attentive as well. I will most likely come back here next time.

Things may have changed since I visited Kajiki, but from my personal experience, I was not satisfied overall. The service was a bit slow considering we were one of the two couples in the restaurant, and nobody else. Then there was the fish, it tasted either old or like it wasn’t kept at the right temperature… it just didn’t have the right mouthfeel or flavor. Considering how slow it was, it might have just been a bit old too. Honestly, I don’t really know, but it just didn’t hit the mark. Would I be willing to come and try Kajiki again? Probably not unless there has been a drastic change.

This spot seems to never last. They always switch owners every year after year. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th switch. Came with my friends on a Thursday night and it was super dead. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They offer 50% off on the 2nd roll if you order 2. I ordered a Hamachi roll and cherry blossom. The food took forever to come although we were the only ones in the restaurant. To my disappointment, my rolls were super small, I only had like 4 – 5 piece for my Hamachi roll. The cherry blossom was whatever. BUT, I must say if you order the right rolls, they are freaking huge. My friends ordered a lion king or scallop roll, and it was gigantic. Overall, I don’t think I would return given the vast amount of sushi restaurants around the area like O sushi or Harumi

A small sushi restaurant with cheap prices and big sushi rolls! My friends and I ordered 8 of their special rolls: The White Wizard(our favorite), Baked Scallop Roll(our 2nd favorite), Salmon Deluxe Roll(another favorite — refreshing), Hama Hama Roll(Chef’s Special — our least favorite), Titanic Roll(crab meat overload), Texas Cowboy Roll(chewy meat), Giant Roll(okay tasting), and the Four Season Roll(okay tasting). Our waiter was nice and gave us the 50% off promotional deal. We noticed that the sushi rolls weren’t heavy on the rice and the portion sizes were huge. Only a few of the rolls gave us the wow factor, but the other rolls were average. Personally, I thought some of the rolls were overwhelmed with too much sauce, which took away the fresh flavor. The restaurant left me feeling quite full and satisfied, but it didn’t give off an impression that I’d want to come back again. Overall: good prices, good service, and decent tasting sushi!

We came here around 6pm and we had the place to ourselves for almost half an hour! I like that. But afterwards, people are coming and invading the place. Arg! Anyways, food is really good. We tried soft shell crab and Hamachi Kama. Oh, I’m such a happy Jem and I love them both!(I brought home a left over of that Hamachi Kama and our cat went crazy for that!) We also tried lion king and baked scallop roll, they were creamy and surprisingly delicious! Friendly service and nice people. Cleanliness is a okay. This is a small place. So if you will come here during peak hour, expect a long wait even for your food before they will be serve. I will come back here for sure and try some of their roll.
