RUINED MY CAR. I’m trying to attach pictures. They didn’t put the taillights back on with proper seal and water logged my car. It is entirely soaked. But it has been getting that way for an entire month thru the rains, coming in thru the trunk seal or taillight, going down thru the spare tire channel and soaking to the inside. If it was like flooded car, you would know immediately, but how do you know the underside of the backseat is taking on water in this way? It’s basically been sitting in water for a month until it really rained had and went to my feet and i noticed it. The water went into the spare tire well, where it isn’t seen immediately seen and started to fill up the spare tire well and then went into the chamber and the water filled that up and into my entire car. It’s been raining heavy for the past month. I might not have even really known they didn’t put the seal on properly until much later (which would have been a slow seepage of water causing mold and mildew in the trunk) but I was made aware of it because the rains were so strong, otherwise I would have just had water slowly seeping in. it came on quick and I have mold and rust now in a 2013 car. I have a 2013 Honda Civic that was getting some paint work done under Honda warranty so they choose this place. They were to repaint to door jams and the trunk. It took over 3 weeks, when I got it back I noticed that the black flexible seal on one of doors wasn’t attached properly, I wedged that back in myself, but thought that was shoddy. Then I looked at the paint on the trunk and saw a few lumpy flecks stuck under the paint. That doesn’t show up in pictures, but it’s not a smooth finish. I took it to a different shop for opinion. they basically said…“well, it’s kinda shoddy, but not completely bad”. Few weeks later, the rain starts… one day I notice my feet are sitting in wet carpet and the windows are completely fogged over. this is during the heavy rains, it rained for about 5 days straight. I look around and try to clean up a bunch of sitting water, but the more I sop up it doesn’t get it all… realize it has soaked the entire back seat, and I now have mold growing… what’s going on? I go to a few body shops and am told to look in the spare tire well and if it’s wet in there it’s because it’s coming in thru the taillights that didn’t get sealed properly after the paint job a few weeks ago. Inside the spare tire well was flooded. Mind you, the items in the trunk weren’t completely soaked, it just went down into the spare tire well which then filled the chamber that goes to the inside of the car… so I now have rusty spare tire, rusty bolts holding the seats, saturated back seat, moldy carpets, mildew smell, carpet pulling away… the car was basically flooded after absorbing water slowly for a month. I park my car on a steep slope with facing upward so I probably got all the rain from the roof of my car draining down the back over the tail lights. It was alot of water inside my car. anybody who gets their car painted here should open their trunk after a rain and look for wetness.

They even provide a wash and detail, one month after the car’s return, to complete the process and check that all body work is up to their standards.
The pride that they take in their workmanship shows. I sincerely hope that I don’t need them again, but I would I highly recommend them to anyone who does.

My experience here was very unpleasant. Shoddy, half-​assed, repair work on my car that had to be fixed again elsewhere, plus dishonest and condescending customer service. Avoid at all costs.

This place is the best ever! Sadly I’ve had to come here twice, but happily I’ve had the best experiences ever. The first time was the day I bought a brand new Avalon and on the way home I got rear ended. I was leaving on vacation, thus the new car, and I had limited time. They got my car back to brand new the day before we were going to leave, hurray! Then I wrecked my beloved sports car and they brought it back from the dead, it looks brand new! The best part of Luxe is the staff, they are the best! They treat you like family, keep you informed about the status, let you know when parts come in and are just amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
