First time I’ve ever ordered flowers for delivery anywhere and I was hesitant. Newark flowers had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Called right when they opened and spoke to a lady (sry, forgot her name). She was pleasant, patient and understanding as I had her rewrite the message like 3 times. I needed the flowers delivered before 1230. They got delivered at 1208 — perfect. Beautifully long stemmed roses. Pricey but it’s the same as those website deliveries but it’s totally worth the smile on your love ones face. I’ll def order again if needed.

Thank you so much for making this assortment!!! I had called in looking for blue roses which was considerably rare to find. Andrelina took the phone call and was able to make me a last minute arrangement for my first date. She went well above and beyond what FTD or any online florist would do. She did not just take roses and put them in a vase. She went above and beyond to make the blues pop together with a white and added many leaves of green rather than bare stems. Overall 100% satisfied and highly recommended. Pricing on flowers was very reasonable and you will not be disappointed!

Love the service provided! I placed an order for two graduation lei’s for my nephew on Tuesday afternoon and asked for an 8:00am pick up on Thursday. The store normally opens at 10am but that was the time of his graduation ceremony, so the owner said she’d come in early that day so I the lei’s could stay fresh! Awesome, thank you!
The lei’s were gorgeous and everything turned out perfectly. I was able to pick them up in the morning and still make it to graduation with plenty of time to find parking, walk a mile to the stadium and then sit around for 2 hours until his name was called (he was in the 5th to the last row to be called). Good times!

Absolutely loved the funeral spray that Andrelina created for my aunt’s funeral this past weekend. I did my due diligence and searched for the best deal out there in regards to price, quality, size, and the option of having a ribbon printed on the spray. Even though it may seem like you are getting a good deal from bigger companies like FTD., 1800FLOWERS, etc. you have to watch out cause the picture that they usually show on the website is going to cost you more money. Less cost means a smaller size spray. I literally called many places and asked them to give me the size in inches that the spray would be, I also asked if they can print a ribbon on the spray with a message and our families names. Surprisingly many places did not print out ribbons and the size was a whole lot smaller than the picture shown. Once I called Newark Flower Shoppe and spoke with Andrelina, she was so nice, accommodating, and helpful. Especially cause I was calling just the day before it would need to be delivered to the viewing in Hayward. I picked out the style I wanted on the website and over the phone we discussed what colors, I definitely wanted the spray to be more joyful and not somber. As I walked into the funeral home, I was delighted to see how beautiful the spray stood out amongst all the rest of the flowers around my aunt’s casket. If ever I need flowers to be delivered in the area I would use Newark Flower Shoppe again!

AMAZING! Twice I have gone into the shoppe with a last minute request and have had the most amazing arrangements delivered to our church. Andrelina and DeShawn are AMAZING!
Helpful, caring, thoughtful and SO very pleasant to work with.
Andrelina even took the time to educate me on flowers and giving me advice on which flowers were the most likely to survive my multi day event. Not only did the flowers continue to look fresh for the 3-​day event they last through the next week and a half.

I paid $ 50 for a double orchid lei, «mint green» color. The flowers are wilted -.- and it doesn’t even look like a double lei like on their website. I don’t know if they made it too early and it wilted or if it was just like this and they thought it was ok.
The lady who was there when I picked it up also seemed aloof.

Andrelina and DeShawn are the best! They both work super hard to create the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. Because of there hard work, I have scored major points with my honey and I can’t think of another florist who has so much passion and pride in there work. I buy flowers for my lady every month and they go out of there way to take them directly to her work. And let me tell you, her co-​workers get so jealous. I love my honey with all my heart and the flowers they make reflect that in each and every bouquet.

There are times in my life when I can’t micromanage in person, and that makes me very nervous — especially when dealing with flowers for special people. Thank goodness Angeline listened to my needs and sent my «other mother» an amazingly beautiful arrangement for her birthday. Angeline was courteous and prompt, and did everything with a four hour notice!

5 hours before the wedding, the bride called me frantically saying she forgot to order a bouquet of flowers for her mother and mother of the groom. It is an Asian tradition to provide them with a bouquet of thanks at the end of the cermony. As I was going to be in the Newark area before the wedding, I Unilocaled florists and called the Newark Flower Shoppe right away. She knew how flustered I was, but was able to calm me down and reassure me that she would have 2 bouquets done in time with the bride’s budget with me only telling her I needed some yellow and color. I did ask if it could be done quicker, and she called me less than 2 hours later!
2 huge and beautiful bouquets were made, and luckily, everyone was completly happy with the stunning results! For what was put into the flowers, the price was very fair! Thank you NFS for making this a painless transaction and making the bride happy!

This is my favorite florist. Always dependable and affordable. When my mom passed away in 2012 the owner and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful in making decisions during our difficult time. Since then we have exclusively used the Newark Flower Shoppe for any and all our flower needs. I feel so spoiled when I get the beautiful arrangements from them. The staff remembers us when we walk in the door! We are consistently satisfied with the service and care that we receive when ordering from them, in person or by phone. See you soon!

I started calling flower shops in the area for a graduation lei that I needed for the next day. Plus I started my search at 5 pm lol. All the other shops told me I needed a two week notice but time was something I didn’t have.
Finally I called Newark Flower Shoppe and they not only said they could do the lei by the end of the next business day but it was done in the midst of Mother’s Day weekend!!!
I went to pick up the lei Friday evening and it was gorgeous! The orchids were fresh and beautiful. The next morning the lei still looked fabulous.
Thank you, thank you for making this girl happy and more importantly to have a gorgeous lei on graduation!!!

VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Called to inquire about custom arrangement. Proceeded to tell type of flowers I liked and lady kept talking over me and saying too expensive. She didn’t recomend alternative flowers– just wanted to argue? Is this the way to get customers? NOT! Quit your job if you are not happy.

After a quick Unilocal search on flower shops, this place was on top of the list. I walked in that same day and I had no idea what I wanted. After talking to the florist about one of her favorite flowers, she said she would put something together for me. I had no clue what to expect, but I was hoping she would arrange something as beautiful as her. After waiting a little while, the florist brought this bouquet out and It brought a giant smile on my face. What was I thinking? There will never be anything as beautiful as her, but this bouquet came pretty damn close.
The florist was incredibly wonderful. Like I said, I asked for one specific flower but unfortunately she didn’t have any in stock but had a similar one she recommended. She asked for colors, size, and pricing that I was comfortable with. I trusted her since I don’t know much about flowers and I was just a drop in customer. She said she was already working on something in the back and asked me to wait a bit for her to finish and see if I would like it. I paid for the first price she offered me since I was a drop in and they are simply amazing there. Awesome customer service and beautiful flowers. My new favorite flower shop. Thanks for making my date night memorable!

Was searching everywhere for a floral shop nearby my house because I usually find one near my work place, but I Unilocaled this place and decided to check it out. When I went in, I was greeted and asked if it was possible to have a bouquet done today and she said it would be done in 20 minutes. How about that?! Then she asked what I want or what I would like. I said I wanted it for my grandma’s 90th birthday and I wanted it really pretty with gems. I’m not a picky person, but of course I expect something pretty. She works with your budget and I fell in love when I came back. She exceeded my expectations and I knew it was perfect for my grandma. Great service from both the lady and the gentleman. I will definitely be back for more bouquets.

Beautiful! The bouquet lasted a little over a month! I was really impressed with the life of the flowers and the freshness of the flowers.
I didn’t know I was going to get flowers. It was my first date with my now bf *blushes**. He calls me to confirm my address and then told me he was outside. I open the door expecting I had to walk to his car… instead he was outside with a bouquet of flowers!
They were arranged perfectly! The picture does not do the flowers justice. It was vibrant and just made my day, every day, for a month!

Also note that he traveled another 45 mins after picking up the flowers and there was no sign of wilting or any damage from it sitting in the car.
