I had the pleasure of seeing the wonderful soap collection in her lovely home. Unbelievably restored home with some of the most seductive soap I have every seen. She is a true artisan. My darling niece treated me to gorgeous hand molded bird… lucky I am!

Just wanted to write an update to my original review of Pamela Soaps. The repetoire of soap and bath products continues to grow, and she has been able to not only keep, but somehow improve on the already terrific quality of her products. I Just bought some new bars for holiday gifts, and to restock our bathrooms, and I tried some of her morning facial moisturizing oil. So beautiful and lovely smelling — mildly sweet, but not overpowering. I’ve also been using the Bella Flora soap and the Rose Clay, as well as her body oil. In the dry winter heated air, they are life-savers! Thanks, Pam, for keeping my skin happy through the years.

I am a huge fan of artisan soaps and am always on the look out, far and wide, for a well practiced soap-smith. I discovered Pamela’s soaps at the summer farmer’s market in Livermore and was delighted by the products. All seemed to be crafted with great care and love. As an individual with sensitive skin it is also comforting that I have never had a bad reaction to any of the scents or oils. I feel like I can never get enough. Amongst my favorites are her patchouli bar, the ‘wake up’ bar, and the gardener’s(my absolute all time fav!) As mentioned in another review, the bars are quite large, and last quite a while. I extend their life even longer by cutting in half or quarters. I certainly get my dollar’s worth from such an amazing line of products and will be a long time customer.

Pamela Soaps are my favorite handmade natural soaps I have ever used. My favories are the Rose Clay and Cinnamon Orange. I have been truly spoiled and will not buy any soap but Pamela Soap

The wife did all her shopping at the holiday boutique. Our friends and family loved it. Anyone who did not get it wants it next time.

Pamela’s Soap is a Niles business that I have been happy to support since its inception. Unilocal advises people writing reviews to be honest about personal relationships, as they may impact perception of business services. Though I count the Pam, of Pamela Soap, as a dear friend and neighbor, I can say with total honesty that she is equally gracious to everyone who attends her open house events. I attended her November 21st open house, to gear up for the holidays.(I think she will have another one in December.) These events are not to be missed. There are usually ten or fifteen fellow soap lovers sipping punch, eating cookies, and exploring the wares. It’s very relaxed, friendly and festive: a far cry from the malls or chain stores of the world. For small artisan soap makers, Pamela Soap has excellent variety and extremely professional packaging. The gift arrangements look really lovely, though I usually just purchased unwrapped soaps for my personal use. Prior to attending this last event, I had run out of their soaps and I was using a very nice French soap given to me by a friend. Though I was happy with the other soap, I noticed immediately how much richer and smoother the suds from Pamela Soap are. The smells are amazing as well, and they last the entirety of the bar. If I would have one complaint, and it’s perhaps more of an observation, it’s that the bars themselves are very large. It does mean they last a long time and are a very good value for the money. I just find that they can be a bit large for the hands of the two and a half year old in my life.(He, of course, doesn’t mind and thinks it’s funny when the soap bar slips from his small fingers.) I was pleased to notice this time that Pamela Soap has expanded into other cosmetic products, like night salves, lip gloss and perfume oils. I tried some lip gloss and I really like it a lot. Another customer had remarked that it was a little firm for her tastes(it comes in a small container to be applied by finger) but I think it’s perfect, and it won’t just melt and leak all over your purse. The lip gloss is lightly scented, but it has no real discernible taste, which is nice. It absorbed quickly and has been keeping the Winter chapped lips at bay. I think I prefer it to my old favorite of Burt’s Bees.(The aforementioned toddler also likes the lip gloss!) I didn’t have the funds with me to buy the salves or oils, but I plan to at the December event.

I love Pam’s soap. Handmade, local, pure and fresh. Sooo much better than Lush and such a better price. I have very sensitive skin — I’m pale with freckles and have problems with rosacea. I used to never use soap on my face but Pam’s soap — no problem — twice a day — sometimes more. She sells at various farmers’ markets around the bay area and now she sells on line. Also great for gifts. She wraps everthing up so pretty but simple so it’s not wasteful. Try it, you’ll like it!

Amazing stuff! Pamela has worked over the past few years to develop a soap recipe that is great for all skin types! All the scents are amazing and have unique properties! I love the Lavendar, Rose clay blend– it gets out all of the toxins in my skin, mild enough to use on my face! She uses no fragrance oil at all, only pure essential oil. Very few soapmakers out there are truly essential oil only. She has gift baskets available for all occasions. I just recently used her soap as favors for a wedding with a custom label and they were a hit!
