Just had our bathroom partially remodeled and some other «fixes» around the house. We were a little nervous to have people in the house for a few days but soon the crew allayed our fears. They were friendly, efficient, and they cleaned up every day before they left. They were so wonderful. Best of all, they did a super job! I cannot believe how good our place looks. I highly recommend them! Like another reviewer, I also noticed the wonderful working relationship between Steve and Rico and his crew. They obviously like and respect each other. It is very pleasant to be around this kind of a working atmosphere.

I contacted Steve Snyder with a recommendation from the local locksmith to get some repair work done on a door. I left a message on his voicemail and Steve responded the same day in the evening time. I was not able to call him back until the next morning.
We connected, he reviewed the repair to get done with crew member Rico and advised me of the repairs that they believed they could do. As I called a few places to explain my situation, many of them wanted to replace the full hanging door instead of do a repair on the existing. The door was still a good door for sure. After some discussion, Steve and Rico would leave the door in place and actually fix the damaged area (door jamb, the door stop, the shattered section of 2×4, drywall). They took measurements of the area
They came back the next morning and finished the repair work within 2 – 4 hours. This included the repair of the door frame and studs, removal of the drywall, new drywall piece, taping and and texture. They even added an extra security piece for the deadbolt receiver that Steve has used in other door installs to deter kicking in the front door. I appreciated the knowledge and «option» to install that. No pressure to install — just an option.
After finishing the repair I also talked to them about installing Steel Security Doors for an added level of security. They made it back the next day and installed 2 Security Doors within 1 – 2 hours start to finish. Rico and Eddie — super job.
One thing to note that made it nice — you could see the great teaming between Steve and his crew. It was not just a owner and employee — but 2 people actually having a great time working together like family.
I will bring them back for sure when more repairs or work is done in the house.

I want to give a shout out to Steve Snyder and his team at Snyder Remodeling and Home Repair. I knew we had an «issue» with the shower in our master bathroom when the hardwood floor boards outside of the bathroom turned a darker color after my shower. We realize there is some kind of leak going on but didn’t know what to do to fix it, so we had a bunch of contractors come by to take a look. Steve was the only one that took the time to THINK about the problem, and peek under house and do a pretty thorough review. I admire a man that uses his brain! Long story short, the problem is finally corrected and along the way, Steve and his team helped us fix other matters during the course of their numerous visits to our house. Instead of jumping to the conclusion that we should just gut the whole shower and bath and remodel, Steve and his team fixed the problem at hand. They took their time to figure it out, and did a great job. If you need help with bathroom and kitchen remodeling, Steve’s a sure bet.
