Sparklizing Cleaners

My X husband and I went here for years. When we divorced I went in and told them I didn’t want my cleaning under his name anymore and opened my own account. By doing so they more than doubled the price they had been charging me. I tried to explain its the same customer just split into two accounts and they insisted on the new rate. How do you go from charging someone $ 1.75 a shirt to over $ 4? I will never go back there. They lost a loyal customer. Very stupid business.

I put up with you and your father’s lack of tolerance for years. I also tolerated your subpar work on many occasions. No one wants two creases in their pants and more stains than were before. Additionally, your seamstress is awful and should not be considered a seamstress — one pant leg shorter than the other and cannot follow simple instructions; how ridicules is that.
I noticed that you were never friendly until a Caucasian entered your store. Furthermore, you never greeted me in the same way and when I brought that to your attention there was an occasional hi. Wanting my garments taking care of and cleaned professionally — since you call yourselves professionals is not considered picky — it is to be expected. The only reason that I continued patronizing your establishment was because there is pretty much no one else that does the business so why trade one for the other. Also, you ruined my $ 500 blouse and you did not fix it since the damage is the same. You fixing it is a lie.
I was not giving you any praise for doing my blouses differently from one other cleaners — don’t kid yourself. I said that your ironing was different and that the other cleaners that I had tried did not iron as well. And regarding my comment of returning to China, I told you to go back to China if you wanted all your customers to be Chinese — review your recording again for clarification. Yes, your father has smoked inside Sparklizing Cleaners; I know the smell of cigarette smoke, and not just once. Yet another lie you are telling.
And finally don’t pretend that you know the struggles of Martin Luther King, Jr. or blacks in America for that matter — because you do not. The struggles of blacks in American inadvertently benefit your family but can you say that any Chinese in the History of the United States have ever fought for civil rights. How many times have you spent money with a black American and you wouldn’t? Your hands only extended to receive money from so called black America.
It was my fault to continue returning to Sparklizing Cleaners. Sometimes change is difficult when the expectation is the same but thanks to your rudeness I have found a better professional cleaners who thinks your comment of me being picky is absurd, in other words laughable. Do what is required correctly without causing any damages.

Always ready when they say. The staff is not super friendly, but that doesn’t matter it’s a place to get your shirts and suits cleaned.

Beware! Sparklizing Cleaners has a laundering practice of labeling your shirts with your name (inside lower front) in permanent marker so that they can identify it after washing with other people’s clothes. Many other cleaners will attach a tag to the shirt’s button hole before washing to help identify each customer’s clothes. Although, the name label is on the inside of the shirt and no one can see it, they still defaced and devalued expensive shirts without informing me beforehand that this is what they do. They did not give me a choice to decide if I am okay with this. Not informing customers of this type of practice before doing it is an unacceptable business conduct. It’s quite ridiculous actually. I still gave them two stars because their price is cheaper and they do the job just fine. I would pay more to have tags used if they would just tell me this, but they don’t give you a choice. Writing on private property without permission is outright vandalism and that is annoying. I won’t be coming back to this place. Who knows what else they do without telling their customers. Use some cheap, toxic washing detergent?

A friendly, family-​run business, I have been coming here for years. Shirts are delivered on time as promised.
However, my shirts come back smelling like body odor sometimes, I am guessing because they wash them with other people’s clothes in cold water. They do not notify you when they raise prices, quietly handing you a higher invoice. They may be up to 20 minutes late when they are supposed to open up at 6:30 in the morning. They take the best, closest parking spot for themselves. Look out for their gray Hyundai Soltera parked right in front of the entrance all day, making all of their customers walk.

I took a couple of dresses, coats, and a jersey in for dry cleaning late last week. The guy who helped me at the counter was super nice, and even spelled my name right on the first try. (That’s a big deal, especially if you know my last name.) I picked up my dry-​cleaning yesterday — all my clothes were clean and neatly pressed, and it seems like they even tightened up some of the buttons on my pea coat. A little pricier than I would have liked, but I’ll just have my husband drop things off next time and that won’t be a problem ;)

My husband has been loyal to this cleaners for many years. But there is an old gentleman that can never quote a price and constantly undercharges me. One time he charged me $ 7 instead of $ 70. Every time I came back after they called and said there was a mistake. But the last time I came in, I was charged $ 3 more per shirt because they said they were blouses! Same dress shirt, but since they were mine, now they were more money than my husbands? The woman at the counter said it was because my «blouse» was too small. Do yourselves a favor; ask them first how much it is to press a boys shirt. When they tell you $ 1.25, then hand them your tops!

All my impulse jeans are nicely hammed by this cleaner. Absolutely perfect as I want to hammed with orginal piece of leg opening. Very neat and clean on sewing and cutting, can pick up fexible hours and done on time, super reasonable charge. Owner not much like to talk alot but it doesn’t means not friendly. I lived across the bay and went there to altered my pricey jeans because I trust them. More likely I don’t want to disappointed on my valuable jeans. Try it, you might like that place.

I thought I lost my $ 100 tie clip. I was ober sad. Turns out I left it in my vest pocket in my 3 piece that I took to get dry cleaned. Woot! Thanks for the save Sparkizing!

I’ve been getting my clothes serviced here for about 10 years now. They have a quick and accurate turnaround time. Prices are competitive. They recycle my hangers. They know me by face. They damaged a piece of my clothing a few years ago and paid for the full retail price of the apparel based on my appraisal (I was reasonable). I haven’t found one reason why I would stop coming here. This is as good as it gets for me.

This dry cleaner used to be great to me until this past year. They were so great @ making my clothes look crisp but not too starchy until recently. I have been dissapointed at the quality due to the fact that they’ve messed up and melted some buttons from dress shirts and haven’t thoroughly pressed my shirts. I’ve noticed creases on one side of my dress shirts and wonder to myself why I even go here in the first place. It’s cuz they charge about less than 1.75 for dress shirts to be manually pressed. Hand pressed is way to expensive for my old but great looking dress shirts.
Customer service is so so as the owner gets pissed when I come in knowing that he’s only breaking even when I bring my shirts in to be machine pressed and that he knows that I’ll be paying with a credit card and he has to pay a fee everytime he has a credit transaction. He told me this after I came in one time to pick my shirts only to find out he charged me for a wash and a handpress that I didn’t request. I didn’t bother looking at my receipt that day since I’ve never had issues with quality/​price for his services since I was a regular. I managed for him to discount his services that day since I didn’t ask for anything extra such as a wash and handpress. That’s when he told me that my business was basically break even for him. I felt insulted cuz I bring in football jerseys, slacks to be dry cleaned and sometimes jeans to be hemmed. This is what they get in return a bad review.
So remember you’ve been warned! Come here on your own risk. In the mean time I’m searching for a friendlier and affordable place to take my dress shirts!

Advertised as an «Eco Friendly» dry cleaner in their local mailings. Prices are supposedly cheaper in the area. Now I know why you’re cheaper.
Sure, that’s good and fine, but you’re not very Customer Friendly. I was going to be a local customer. Sorry, even after spending a few hundred dollars with you, I’m leaving.
I’ve taken many dress shirts to this place and this last time my shirts came back with creases in the back that looked like someone sat on it. That’s okay, because sometimes accidents happen or someone isn’t in the zone that day. However… we took it back to see if we could get it touched up.
I would have been happy if the story ended well and they touched it up.
My wife went back and the owner explained it as if we should have paid more to get a guarantee. What? Here is what ensued:
Wife: «I’d like to see if I can get these dress shirts touched up. There are lots of wrinkles as if they weren’t pressed.» (shows shirts)
Owner: «Machine pressed takes no labor and has no guarantees. If you want guarantees, you need to ask for hand-​pressed.»
Wife: «What? I’ve already paid for this and I just want a touch up.»
Owner: «Sorry, if you want me to touch it up, I will have to charge you again for hand-​press.»
Wife: «Wait… I’m not going to pay again for work that wasn’t done right the first time!» [paraphrased]
… Here’s the kicker:
Owner: «Don’t worry, when you sit in the car, your shirts will be wrinkled anyway!»
Wife: Walks out furious never to return.
I don’t care if you’re eco-​whatever. Your customer service and pride in your work sucks. I’m not going to pay an *additional* $ 4.50 to get my shirts pressed AGAIN when you should have done it properly the first time.

Love this place. I have all my cleaning done here, and it’s always done perfect and on time. When I first got my office job, I didn’t know the dif between «dry cleaning» and just having it washed and pressed. Luckily, the younger guy (27, son of owner?) that works there explained the difference and price difference (ouch). Thank god, as I’d be forking out way more cash than I needed too.
Always clean, always fast, always friendly; I’ll never ask for a discount because of their service. They deserve every penny they get!
