History

Established in 1998.

Robert graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

and was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1978. Shortly after

his admission, he came to Michigan and was admitted into practice in

November of the same year. Since then, Robert has been engaged in

private practice in Fremont and Muskegon. In April of 1998, he

established his own firm, Stariha Law Offices, P.C., and since then has

maintained offices in both Muskegon and Fremont.

Timothy F. Johnson graduated with a B.A. in Business from Michigan

State University in 1987, and Florida State University College of Law. Admitted to the Michigan Bar in May of 1992, he worked in private practice in Grand Rapids from May of 1992 until October of 1999. From there, he became a staff attorney for the Chapter 13 Trustees’ office.

Valerie M. Smulders graduated from University of Michigan with B.A. in Anthropology, Women’s Race and Ethnicity. Thomas M. Cooley Law School, admitted to Michigan Bar in May of 2011

Business Owner

Robert Stariha emphasizes practice in the areas of Debtor and

Consumer representation, both in business and personal bankruptcy.

He also practices legal issues involving wills, estate planning and

probate, real property law and civil litigation.
