This is a very horrible company. The VIP Justin is a very very bad man. He deserves what he does to others. Whoever works at this company is treated like a slave picking cotton. It’s all politics. You’re JUST another person that can be replace. Watch out for that Justin man. He’s bad ju-​ju.

The delivery drivers pulled up outside my house this morning at 7am to deliver to Stacks a block away. They made so much noise I thought we were having another earthquake. I got up and asked them to move. They were unresponsive and rude and denied driving the truck. They also broke my ornamental tree by pulling the truck too close to the curb. Sysco management — you need to train your staff to have respect for peoples’ property and park where they are going to deliver. Linden street is residential.

If I could give negative reviews I would. The sales person totally wasted hours of my time and my chef’s time (and when you own a restaurant you do not have a lot of free time) and then the rep never came up with price lists for all of the items we asked about — EVEN AFTER HAVING OUR LIST FOR A MONTH! His supervisor was no help whatsoever. So unless you order at least FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS OF FOOD A WEEK — forget trying Sysco — go with one of the other distributors like BiRite.

The CDPH and NBC investigation is a shameful report on Sysco from the top down. The Board should remove the CEO and the head of Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance.
