My daughter started at 4 and loved it from day one. Instructors are great with kids, passionate about teaching and excite when kids achieve their goals. It looked so fun I had to join… My daughter and I have now both achieved our black belts and are eager to continue learning.
West Cast is based on Tai Quan Dao but incorporates mixed martial arts from around the world to make a realistic well balance fighting system.
The curriculum teaches responsibility, focus, dedication, and commitment. These life skills can be applied to collage or careers.

Worst place ever! They take your money, have their favorites and are definitely racist towards Indians. If you want to become bankrupt, threatened, and tortured by the immature, gettho so called instructors, then go and join today!
They will mentally and physically drain you. They expect too much, and if your not good enough, then they disregard you and put you down. I’ve seen this happen many times. They charge for anything and everything, and will delay you so you get pushed back longer, and even if you are ready to test, they will try to push you back, so more $$$ for them. This is not how to run a business! The instructors will take their anger on you from their personal day. They are jealous that people in the particular area they decided to come and start a business at, are doing exceptionally well, financially speaking and education level. As for all the other comments, these are mostly very close friends of the family owned business, and are not Indian. Send your child their for a day and sit there throughout the rest of the classes and just watch, then you will truly understand what I experienced watching with my kids, and then you will realize that sending your kid here was a wrong idea. Want to lower your self esteem, your confidence, get mentally/​physically abused every single day and become bankrupt? Then go to West Coast Mission today!

My older daughter has been training here for about eight years– She now helps instruct the younger kids (my youngest daughter is too young). We love the instructors– this is our second home. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Love this place. The instructors are totally awesome. I was fortunate enough to have my kids take from Jovi! Great atmosphere.

My two boys (now aged 6 and 8) started going in October of 2010 and have really enjoyed advancing through the Dragon levels (under 8) and up to solid belts in a steady progression. The martial arts are based on Tae Kwon Do but have more sparring, kicking and fun than the TKD studio we tried out prior to this.
Master Jovi Sr. and his sons Jovi Jr., Jake and young Jaylen are all awesome with the kids and my boys seem to be continually inspired to do their best. I appreciate the level of skills my boys have learned in just a short time when they were so uncoordinated and goofy 2 years ago!
Another thing I have appreciated is Master Jovi’s willingness to work with us on times for classes. There is a homeschool class every Tuesday and Thursday during regular school hours that is wonderful for us.

My daughter has been going her for over 2 years. She still loves it. The instructors Jovi and his sons are really good with the kids. They have fun while learning some really great tae kwan do forms. The sparring she doesn’t like so much, but if you have boys, they’ll love the sparring.

My two kids ages 15 years and 17 years old, train at West Coast Mission Martial Arts
The school recently expanded so there is plenty of room for both student and parents. Jovi Sr. is the master instructor, he is great with kids. He creates an environment where parents and children can train in the martials arts and cardio. The school curriculum is constantly being upgraded and improved by the Ernie Reyes West Coast Association.

My 6 y.o. son goes there and likes it so far. The place is little crowded with no changing rooms. Coaches are good with kids.

My step-​daughter attends this school and she loves it.
