My car had to be towed after an accident and it was stored at this location.
A few days after I picked up my car I noticed that my sunglasses were stolen. In addition, I was cleaning my trunk 2 months later and realized that my spare tire was stolen as well.
It’s rather pathetic to steal a pair of 5 year old used ray bans and a used spare tire from a 99 Honda Civic. Who does that? Seriously…

Very professional and courteous. Stands behind their work Been repairing my vehicles for at least twenty years. Prices fair even if you do not go through insurance.

This is the sort of business that one must come to only under unpleasant circumstances, but that being said, the guys could not be more pleasant and accommodating, and of course they do great work.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carriage House. I had an accident and had no idea where to start. They were wonderful and patient right from the beginning. They handled everything. They gave me a 2 week window as to when my car would be finished and not only was my car back in a week but it looked like a brand new car. I could not believe my eyes! I do not remember my car looking so beautiful. My car was IMMACULATE and my rims were unbelievable. It doesnt even look like I ever had an accident. I highly reccomend Carriage House Collision and I tell everyone I can about them. Dont ever be hesitant to have your car worked on here, it would be well worth it.

by far one of the most friendly honest auto body shops around worked on my car on a timely manner and went above and beyond buffed out some of scratches on my car not related to the work as curtsy awesome place

One morning I found my Lexus had been struck (by what looked like a bull dozer). The entire front end, the hood, and the driver side doors were crushed like an aluminum can. The front axle was broken and windshield and head lamp assembly were smashed, the car was pushed into the curb and the tire rims were damaged and scraped.
Geico recommended Wayside Auto on Queens Blvd but I chose to have my car towed to Carriage House Collision, Inc. on Fresh Meadows Lane.
The estimate given to Geico was no where near the actual cost of repairs which forced Geico to approve repairs rather than claim the car a total loss. I was told the car would be ready in ten days but would see the car parked on the street everyday with many of the parts sitting inside. Each day I would talk to the owner of Carriage House and finally a week later he started repairs and new estimates would be submitted to Geico on an almost daily basis.
A full month after the car was towed in it was ready to be picked up. The first thing I noticed was that the car had not been washed and the interior was filled with dust from sanding body filler. When I inspected the vehicle I noticed that one of the rims that was damaged was not replaced but was moved to the back axle on the passenger side. The new windshield had a small chip in it. Other things I noticed weeks later was that they reused the front rotors and worn out brake pads but billed Geico for new as well as other parts under the hood that they billed Geico for and had not replaced.
The cost of the repairs far exceeded the value of the vehicle but since Geico had already paid just under the value they had no other choice but to continue to be raped by Carriage House for additional work that was not performed. Eventually I did have the corrective work performed by Wayside Auto on Queens Blvd at my own cost.
What Erk’s me the most is that whomever worked on my vehicle found and stole all the money from the compartment that I had stored $ 40.00 in singles and rolls of quarters for bridge and tunnel tolls which I did not discover until I was at the Whitestone Bridge toll plaza.
This is the last place on the planet you would ever want to bring your car. If there is someone in this world that you hate and ever want to get even with… Tell him to bring his vehicle there for auto repairs.

They are good at what they do. They know what they are doing.
And most of the time they finish the job earlier than they estimate. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for! :)

I can’t say enough good things about this body shop. I recently got into a little fender bender and my insurance company recommended Carriage House. At first I was a little hesitant like any else in search of a new body shop. After doing a bit of research and reading up on some reviews online, I decided to give them a shot and see how it would turn out.
I don’t regret the decision for a single moment. They do amazing work but above all else, their customer service is amazing. They called me almost every other day to keep me updated on where they were with the repairs. A repair that was supposed take 2+ weeks took them a little over a week.
When I got my car back I stepped into a brand new vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything had been cleaned immaculately. The floors were vacuumed, the seats were cleaned and the panels were all wiped down. Its the little things like that that keep body shops like Carriage House I’m business for years and years.
I’d recommend this place to anyone in need of any body work with plenty of friendly customer service.

Been here a couple times to take care of my car that had broken windows. They take great care of their customers! I had to come back to fix a mount that broke and became unglued for my sliding window installed almost 4 years ago and they took care of it first priority! Work is gauranteed!

This is the place to take your car after an accident if you want the job done right. Although on the expensive side, they will do what they can to help you save some money.
My vehicle had its front bumper cover completely torn off in an accident, that the insurance refused to pay for. They had ordered the bumper cover for me and painted it ahead of time. Then I came and they installed it in under two hours so I did not have to leave the car there for long. This easily saved me $ 200 just in rental car fees i’d have to pay if the car were to be left in the shop.
