Wanted the kids to have a haircut and this place is more convenient for me so I went in. There is a sign shows $ 8 for short hair. Went in and one lady done with her hair, was asking why she was being charged more than $ 8 as sign shows $ 8 for short hair. The lady named Monira told her, that’s only for guys. I have 2 boys, so without hesitation I let her do the haircut. First, hygiene is a big problem here. She did not put any towel nor paper towel underneath the gown, so when she cut, all hair went right into their shirt! When done, she used 2 pieces of paper towel on both their hair. So, they are sharing the paper towels! :( Long story short. Finally, paying time and she charge me regular price instead of what is showing on the glass door, so I asked. And, tada guess what she answered me this time? Oh, that barber is not always here on Tuesday! But, the barber’s name is not on the sign at all. Don’t you think they have to put the barber’s name as well if that only applies to that specific barber? This place is trying to mislead their customers. Now, I have to clean the boys shirts from this lady! Forever won’t be back.

I had a long hair and wanted to chop my hair, I’m very picky so I explained how i like my hair to be and don’t like to look and even brought a pic, it was very traumatic the way they cut it its like their rushing i couldn’t believe how they do it just cut however, whichever and whatever. I guess if you want just a straight cut then they could but I asked for layers, literally got it. Though service is good, staff are cool.

Been having my hair cut with Valerie for over 25 years. She not only gives a great haircut but she’s a great person. We always enjoy chatting together when I’m there. Hope she never leaves!

Oh what a travesty! Everybody knows that hair is a girl’s best friend. So, out of convenience, I walked across the street from my apartment to cut my hair. Mind you, I had long hair that took months to grow, so, all I needed was a trim. Long layers please. I got short layers and about 5 inches off my hair. I now look like Lu-Kang from Street Fighter. Needless to say, she paid no attention to my hair the entire time. Woe is me because I did not speak up as the hair massacre was happening. To add, the shop is very dingy with zero upkeep. Why I did not step out when I witnessed the unsanitized combs and peeling paint is still boggling my mind. Please don’t go or you’ll end up like me, someone who is waiting for all of her hair to grow back.

I have been going here on and off for the past … gulp. 25 years. Started out with Valerie(she is still there) and have also used Jeanne and Dina. Val and Jeanne have been there forever– and are still in high demand. Jeanne is definately the queens updos. If you are in dire need of a updo– go to her. The only bad thing is that she is only in 2– 3 days a week now. Dina is Kat Von d with bright pink hair. Def not a boring person and does give decent hair cuts(sometime she gets a bit scissor happy, especially with bangs). There are moderately priced and you can go there for perms, color, highlites and blow outs. Décor is decent too. Not a full service salon, You can walk in, but you will need an appt with the above three stylists.
