If you’ve been diagnosed with herniated or bulging discs and have back pain, you should definitely consider seeing Dr. Draper.
I’ve spent the last 5 years going to physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, pain management specialists, and neurosurgeons and none have helped me as much as Dr. Draper has.
The first thing to know is that he does not practice traditional chiropractic care. No cracking or popping here. Instead, he uses a treatment called Neurosoma which is explained in more detail on his website and in the book «What’s Really Wrong With You» by Thomas Griner. I was very skeptical when I first decided to see him and asked a lot of questions. There isn’t much information out there about Neurosoma and it was so different than what I’d been told that I had a difficult time believing it could really help. But now, after 8 treatments, I’m convinced.
Neurosoma focuses not on the disc problems but on the muscles. Dr. Draper uses a pulsing machine and special type of massage to really target the muscles and get them to loosen up. No exercises or special stretches are recommended – in fact, too much exercise can actually make the problem much worse. Be aware that you will probably be VERY sore after the first several treatments. It is well worth it, though.
His office is very pleasant and the people who work there are great. Angie, the receptionist is wonderful and if you’re still not convinced you should definitely talk to his assistant, Charlie. After being treated by Dr. Draper for herniated discs and numbness and pain in his legs, he was so impressed by the results that he went to work for him.
While I am not completely «cured» yet, I have seen so much improvement that I couldn’t wait to write a review so that others could know about this. Severe back pain is excruciating and makes life very difficult. Give Dr. Draper a chance and I bet you will see some improvement.
