Been in the lobby of the office for 30 minutes and counting. I purposely got a morning appointment so I could get to work as soon as possible!!! No reason to be a 30 minute delay

Three visits and waited over an hour for each… the last being 1.5 hours… Hard to do for a 2 year old, would not recommend for young kids for that reason.
The above was my original review of them. I want to mention now that I received a personalized note from the business manager apologizing for the delays. This doesn’t change my review however it does show that they care and that I may have caught them on a bad week…

I’m not really into writing reviews about doctors but have to give this doctor props since I discovered him through Unilocal and their reviews are on the mark. His office is very clean, organized, and staff is very thorough. We came here because my son had an enlarged tonsil and his pediatrician thought he was having an allergic reaction to something.
We took matters into our own hands and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Demera because my son’s pediatrician tends to lags and doesn’t follow through. Dr. Demera saw the size of the tonsil, had the nurse perform an allergy test on my son (who isn’t allergic to anything) and he recommended an x-​ray. Here is what sets him apart from others. we had the x-​ray done the following day and shortly after we received a call from Dr. Demera himself stating there was no issue found with the enlarged tonsil-​wow thanks for calling us so promptly!
Dr. Demera thought it would be best to refer my son to throat, neck, mouth doctor «just incase» and provided us with this doctor’s information. Unaware my son’s pediatrician also referred us to the same throat, neck, mouth doctor and set an appointment for us but didn’t let us know. There was mass confusion as to why my son already had an appointment but no paperwork submitted-​this last part is basically beside the point but proves why I opt not to review certain doctors.

I suffer from a skin allergy. Dr. DeMera was very knowledgable and knew right away what my issue was. He has made my allergy issue an easy and tolerable allergy. The staff is great. Very nice on the phone and in the office. Dr also sees my daughter for the same allergy. We love him!

During 2012, I had multiple sinus infections during the winter and even caught strep throat during the summer. I was having to miss so much school and work that I could not continue the rest of 2012 being sick since it was my last semester at Fresno State.
I was referred to Dr. Demera to start the process of why I was always coming down with sinus infections and to find out if tonsillectomy was an option to help avoid getting sick.
Dr. Demera ran some tests, and also did an allergy test to see if that was causing anything. I think EVERYONE should get this done, because I had ZERO clue that I was highly allergic to mold and ashtrays (yeah, I know, weird).
He also noticed I was clearing my throat during the appointment and asked if I did it frequently. I never noticed if I did before, so he told me to be more aware of it and to make note of what I eat or drink before the throat clearing begins and come the following week.
He also had x-​rays done on my sinuses to see if I had a deviated septum that was causing my sinus infections.
Because I cleared my throat (a lot) he put me on a diet to avoid acidic foods and drinks. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my throat clearing, but also I haven’t had a sinus infection in three months.
Another plus, whenever I had my appointments, I never had to wait more than five minutes and the longest appointment I had with him was 30 minutes. He knows his stuff! And, his staff is very helpful! I couldn’t find their building for my first appointment and they stayed on the phone with me while another staff member went outside to wave me down.
I have been on the diet for almost two months and have also noticed a difference in my health. He definitely opened my eyes to how foods can effect your body in ways you didn’t think of before.
