Fresno Indoor Boot Camp

I’m a newbie to FIBC but I must say I love it here! The staff is very attentive and knowledgable. Even while working with a group, they take the time to help new people (like me). You never feel pushed beyond your limits. It’s a fun way to get in strength training! Love it!!! If you’re considering a boot camp type workout, look no further! Very reasonably priced, too!

My husband and I started attending about a month ago as they were running a Groupon special. Boy was it worth it! After being there a month I feel better, I’m starting to look better, and my endurance is great !
I was a little intimidated going at first, but once I realized that everyone there were just like me (every shape and size) I took to it ! The staff is awesome, attentive, and on point. They always aim to push you to your personal best, not what someone else’s personal best is.
Everyone there is friendly and eager :) when my Groupon runs out I will be buying a membership for sure!

I gotta say i was kinda intimidated on doing a boot camp. But gotta say that FIBC has been a great experience.
Pros:
Staff is awesome. They push you as hard as you can, but they are not all in your face.
Indoor facilities are great: Most boot camps you are meeting at a park and you are dealing with the elements.
Price is affordable for anyone: Can either pay $ 5 each visit or get a 10 session punch card for $ 30. (yes these are their regular prices) If you are lucky you can get a groupon ($ 15 for 10 session punch card).
Boot camp changes all the time.: I have been going 3 times a week and it has been different every time.

I have been going 5 days a week now and seen a big improvement. Nothing has changed since i started in August 2012. Still as challenging and as fun. The coaches are great since they see if you are a newbie they will see how you do, then work around any issues. Also once they know you they do press you some more but its still not the crazy in your face type of place. Just bring a open attitude and a willingness to push yourself to your own limits.

I’m one of the few guys that go to this class, but honestly it is one of the best workouts I have done in years and I’m always surprised I don’t see more guys in it, I think that most of them find it so hard, that they are embarrassed by the women and then they don’t come back, just my guess though. My advice, stick it out for at least 3 or 4 workouts, it get’s easier, but it’s all what you make of it.
It reminds me of being back in college and high school and doing those workouts that you hated with the coach that you hated even more, though at the time, it got you into the best shape of your life, only here, I have fun doing it and I don’t feel like I just went to the gym and wasted an hour plodding along doing the same old workout I always do. You never know what sort of exercises you are going to do until the class starts, which makes it interesting right off the bat. The coaches are fun and they push you as much as you want them to.
Most of the exercise is based solely on your body weight, but we do use tractor tires, kettle bells, medicine balls etc. from time to time as well, it really mixes things up.
I highly recommend this to anyone that needs to step up what they are doing and try something completely different for a while. This will make your entire body sore for a few days after the very first workout, but it only gets better after that.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I discovered FIBC in October 2010 from a posting on Craigslist and have been going 2 – 4 times a week ever since. When I first started going the class sizes were very small; sometimes I was the only one there! Not that I’m complaining, $ 3 for a 1-​on-​1 personal training session is the best deal around! The trainers are very knowledgeable and so supportive. Each coach has his/​her own way of teaching, but they all make an effort to make the workouts different and fun. One of my favorite things about them is that they tailor the workout to fit your needs and fitness level. There can be a class of 10+ people and they’re able to give each person individual attention and encouragement. I can definitely notice a huge improvement in my overall physical fitness since I started and credit that change to the trainers at FIBC. I’ve been a fan of working out for several years and have participated in numerous different classes/​programs, but this takes the cake. It’s worth every penny of the whopping $ 3 they charge per class! I highly recommend FIBC to anyone looking for a great workout with an amazing bunch of people.
