History

Established in 1994.

Marlin Crawler was founded in 1994 by its owner, Marlin Czajkowski. Marlin saw a need for a low-​range gearing system for all Toyota 4-​wheel drive vehicles. After reading an article in Four Wheeler about someone from Iceland putting together two transfer cases for his Toyota, Marlin knew that it could be done. Not only would a Toyota be able to go at a slower pace through any type of obstacle, but it would be able to be more environmentally friendly when out 4-​wheeling. With this in mind, Marlin went about determining the gear rations that could be used in the formulation of his products. Since that early beginning, Marlin Crawler, Inc. has expanded to become one of the well-​known 4-​wheeling companies.

Marlin has been wheeling his 1980 Toyota Hilux Minitruck since 1983 when he became it’s second owner. His truck has evolved into the Ultimate trail and recovery rig. Basic specifications include the following:
