History
Established in 1997.
Max’s Bistro & Bar started as a deli and fine foods market. Customer demand for more tables promted a change to the business in 1998. We became a full service restaurant by 1999. Max’s continually evolves and changes as the years go by. We added a full service bar in 2004. In 2005 we brought on chef Scott Sauer from Ventana at Big Sur and revamped our menu to include more selections of fresh local produce and fish from the central coast. We strive to continually update our menu’s with the freshest ingredients from the bountiful San Joaquin valley. Our staff is truly incredible and spends many hours a week deciding which wines will make our menu. We hope you can come dine with us and experience all the love and creativity we have infused into Max’s Bistro and Bar.
