Party City

I came in here looking for a specific costume. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by a friendly employee.
This girl asked if I was looking for anything in particular. Usual even when I am looking for something, I just say ‘No’ and prefer to go about looking for it myself. However, I gave in and told her what I needed.
She was very informative to tell me what they had on the floor, and that if I didn’t see anything that I liked that they were likely to have the costume upstairs. Wow, I didn’t even know they had an upstairs!!!
I set out to see what they had out on the floor, and just my luck… there wasn’t anything. The employee checked back on me and I let her know I was not successful. I then told her what I needed again and she was off.
A few short seconds she returned with just the right costume (style/​size). She showed me to the fitting room.
I was pretty happy with being able to find this item without going to multiple stores, so I made my way up to the register. As I passed this employee, I thanked her for all her hard work. I got up to the cash register only to stand in line. Then, thus same employee that had been so great to help me came up to the front and proceeded to check me out with my purchase.
I was so happy with my experience here that I made it a point to get her name for this review. Thank you SHAMIKA for being so wonderful!!! I really appreciate all of your help and wish there were more people like you in customer service.

I don’t give out many of these 5 star reviews but when I do it’s because they deserve it. Came in here today looking for a simple suit for a Halloween party and I took care of me and to give me a Veterans discount. Great staff fast service and probably some of the best Halloween outfits I’ve seen in Fresno.

They have extremely cute décor for a variety of occasions. I hosted a baby shower in January and ended up purchasing most of the party’s décor from this Party City. The big yellow sun and baby blue giraffe balloons we’re drop dead cute!!! I purchased the balloons a few days prior to the baby shower which was held on a Saturday. They recommended ordering the balloons at least a couple days ahead of time if your party is on a Saturday, which is their most popular day for balloon pick up. My balloons were blown up and ready to take home right on time as I arrived in the store Saturday morning.
In need of plastic plates, cups, napkins, and utensils for your gathering? This is the place to go! They have every color of the rainbow and more in these items and all for a very reasonable price.

Got here when doors just locked, they still let us in because we needed some last minute party stuff. Which is rare for snobby river park. Staff didn’t rush us and went out there way to help. Cashier (Cindy)was beyond nice and very helpful with ideas. We got everything we needed to complete party for baby Sarah J (everyone is invited)!!!

The store manager was rude and not helpful. The baby yard sign was missing a washer that fit the sign to the wooden stake. I asked if they had another sign in the back and I was told «no». No one even looked. I asked if I could have a few dollars taken off since I was going to have to fix the sign myself and, I was told «no». The manager said «I don’t think it’s broken, if will work fine.» Then he walked away while I was still trying to talk to him. The cashier said sorry, and I paid for my sign.

I’ve been to other Party Cities before, and this was was no different. Okay… it was cleaner than the others I’ve been to. The layout was simple and it was relatively easy to find what you may want. I am pleased they kept up with the holidays and had a fair selection to choose from.
If you need plates, napkins, plasticware, balloons or some quick costumes, this place will probably work well for you.
For your sake, I hope they have someone doing balloons who is not supposed to be at a register. Waiting 15 minutes in line for 2 people in front of you is just not acceptable.
