My husband and I have been taking our cars here for everything from oil changes and safety checks to more specific repairs since we moved up here, and the service is always the fastest, the least costly, and the best done. My only complaint is they don’t really get the whole«sometimes customers need rides to and from the mechanic» thing, especially in a city like Fresno with sparse, unreliable public transportation.

Used to take my old car to the dealer. Bought this car about a year ago. A couple issues came up so I took my Toyota Solara there this past week. Had to get an oil change, have some brake work done and a fix an electrical problem. Ron got all the info he needed to diagnose the problems. About 90 minutes later they called me with what they found and gave me an estimate. They had to get a part from Toyota and would try to get it done by days’ end. I told them I needed the car for a work trip the next morning. David, my repair tech, thought he’d be done by then but said he would make sure the car was available by 5pm. About 1:30 he called and said the car was all done! And it came in under the estimate! Clean, fast and accurate. I found my new mechanic.

The guys at R&R have gotten an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau for years. They did a great job fixing up the broken side mirror and replacing the power steering and A/C belts on my 1999 Camry, and all under budget. When it turned out the timing belt was up for replacement, they were up front and unbiased about the pros and cons of doing the expensive fix immediately versus later. I never felt pushed or misinformed. While their prices for the services I got were far less than the quote from Bingham Toyota, the timing belt fix cost less at the dealership. It’s still worth it to shop around for prices, but R&R definitely stays on the list.
