No appointments are necessary at The Cinderella Cellar. Shopping for a bridal gown or special occasion gown should be a fun and enjoyable experience. You should never be subjected to rude or high pressure sales persons. The Cinderella Cellar has been in business since 1993 and is a member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating. The Cinderella Cellar recognizes that princesses come in all shapes and sizes, and gowns are available from size 2 to 30. All gowns shown on these websites can be purchased through The Cinderella Cellar. We are also excited to now offer Sue Wong gowns. History

Established in 1993.

My name is Doreen Monis-​Wright and I am the owner of The Cinderella Cellar. I started my business in 1993 in the basement of our home when my daughter Spenser was two and a half and I was eight and a half months pregnant with my daughter Hunter. Spenser wanted to name the baby Cinderella if we had a girl, or Gaston we had a boy. I had to break it to her that dad and I had already picked out a name for the new baby, but I promised to let her name the business instead. Thus, The Cinderella Cellar was born… as was Hunter two weeks later.

In 2011, when the kids were grown, I decided to move my business out of our home to Mission Village which is located on the corner of Shaw Ave. and Fresno Street near Fashion Fair in Fresno

I absolutely love my job and its new location and hope to make every customer feel like a princess while preparing for her special day.

Absolutely love this boutique. I had a fairly modest dress budget so I went to a chain bridal store first assuming I wouldn’t be able to get a dress from a boutique in my price point. After not being satisfied with the service or dresses from the chain I went to Cinderella Cellar. Doreen is so sweet and welcoming. She did not rush or pressure me into anything. We were there for 1.5 hours and not once did she make us feel like we were over staying our welcome. I was able to find THE dress and stay on budget. She has something for every bride. You will not be dissapointed here.

Charming boutique. My best friend and I drove to Fresno on a weekend without an appointment (risky I know). We really wanted to go try on dresses and wanted to try somewhere different from the usual Los Angeles area. The owner was so sweet and knowledgeable. I love when consultants/​owners hear your thoughts and ideas but also give you the freedom to browse as you please. There was only one other bride there but we soon ended up being the only two in the entire store. It was amazing we tried on a few dresses and snapped some pictures in front of the big gorgeous mirror. My best friend and I did not end up finding our wedding dresses here but so happy we stopped at the Cinderella cellar!

My niece had tried out some of the other bridal places including the «major» retailer in Fresno and no other place compares to Cinderella Cellar. The staff was very helpful and not overly pushy. The dress that my niece decided upon fit her perfectly and she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. She received her dress in a timely manner. Oh can’t forget to mention which is the main reason that originally brought us here was no appointment is needed.

This is such an amazing boutique. I really enjoyed going here with my bridesmaids because the owner of the store is awesome. You can tell when someone just works to get paid compare to someone who really loves what they do and it shows that she really loves what she does and takes pride in her shop.
We felt so comfortable here while trying on dresses that time flew by and we didn’t even notice. We first visited this boutique sometime in january and since it was a little chilli outside, she made sure she had a little heater in the dressing room to keep us warm which was really sweet.
When I first came in I had no idea of what kind of dress I was looking for but she had me tell her some ideas or style I might have wanted to try first and she found me a couple of dresses and went from there.
She is so sweet and I really enjoyed her service. This boutique also has really beautiful dresses here and i would recommend any future bride to add this to the top of their dress shopping places to shop at.

Had two appointments today. One here and one at David’s Bridal. David’s Bridal has more selection but a lot of those dresses were nothing compared to the ones Doreen had. She even helped my sister pick the perfect belt to compliment the dress. She gave us a lot more attention than the David’s Bridal associate and our experience was magical. Thanks Doreen!

Doreen at Cinderella Cellar is so nice, she let us come in last minute and was very accommodating even with a smaller shop. She carries so many beautiful gowns and keeps a variety of sizes on her racks so every bridal can try something on! She also has a great price range. I would definitely recommend every bride stop by The Cinderella Cellar!

This place is so wonderful! Greeted me warmly as a walk in and helped me– even though she was busy working on a dress! I would recommend The Cinderella Cellar to every bride! I haven’t purchased my dress yet but I did fall in love with one I tried on there. More than any other dress I have tried on anywhere else so I am sure I will be back!

Amazing Business and lady! Unfortunately i didn’t buy my dress here. Wish I would have. Because I lost 75 pounds and brought my dress at my biggest. Doreen (the owner) went above and beyond and took my dress in with crazy measurements.
She even worked with my crazy work schedule. She fixed a few of my bridesmaids dresses. Amazing job!

I’ve been to a few bridal shops and most of the time I’m not greeted nor offered assistance to find a dress, but Doreen immediately came to me and helped me find my dream dress! This is long overdue. I can’t say enough great things about Doreen. She really is all about what is best for the customer. She runs her business by herself. She is honest and kind. She offers recommendations if she doesn’t have what you are looking for. She did the alterations on my wedding dress, I ordered my veil from her, and I’ve sent friends to her as well. Everyone so happy and pleased with her and her work.
This last time I went to Cinderella Cellar she made quick alterations for me on the spot and did not charge me because it was so simple. Doreen is a prime example of what exceptional customer service and etiquette are. She is truly an inspirational Fairy Godmother. She has a definite repeat customer in me.

Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! This shop has the most beautiful dresses in the valley at the best prices! The service here is amazing the owner, Doreen is so sweet. I bought a dress on sale at davids, didn’t really get that feeling but we changed our venue to Vegas so I was thinking simple… then kept stressing over how much I didn’t like it and it was a final sale could not return. 3 weeks before my wedding, I came here and she was very accommodating and never freaked or said it wasn’t possible, what a relief! I liked everything I tried on! Of course with my budget in mind, she said she had a dress in the back that was a sample she was still working on replacing some beading on but let me go grab it because I think you will like it. Well, it was meant to be! Fitted on top, beautiful beading, dreamy full skirt, and a corset back! I found the ONE! The dress of my dreams! They also have very unique veils, I found one that matched my dress perfectly. Wedding day was amazing, my husband was awestruck, I felt so beautiful and everyone loved my dress! For those indecisive brides, you can waste your time searching all over Fresno but after all the crappy service, no selection, and high prices you will end up coming back here!!! Guaranteed!

This review is long overdue. I wanted to wait until after my wedding to post it but I just can’t wait any longer. I absolutely loved my experience here! I had planned on going to David’s bridal across the street but on the the way I saw The Cinderella Cellar and decided to check it out. Doreen had plenty of options in my budget. I tried on three dresses and found the one. It was a sample that fit perfectly and needed no alterations so Doreen gave me a great price. I can’t wait to come back and get all my accessories!

After much research about bridal alterations in Fresno, I decided to go with Doreen at Cinderella Celler, and it was a great choice! I did not purchase my dress from Doreen, but she kindly took on altering my dress. Doreen worked with my schedule and opened the shop for me on normally «closed» days. She quoted me and encouraged me to get quotes from other shops, which made me feel at ease to know she wasn’t trying to overcharge me. She did a wonderful job altering my dress, and did her best to do as little alterations as possible to help save money. Also, the shop is adorable and clean, and from what I saw had a great dress selection. You and your dress are definitely in good hands at this shop, and you can see that Doreen truly values her brides and making them happy!

I Joined Unilocal in Feb 2015 — This Review is long over due! But Better Late Than Never!
I came in 2013 for a maid of honor dress and was helped by the owner Doreen. She’s such a sweet lady and seems to care very much for her customers and her business. She was super helpful and efficient — She told the bride and myself she does EVERYTHING all by herself! I believe her because every time we’d go in, she was the only person in the store! The shop is very Gorgeous and has a Chic Bridal atmosphere. I looked at her bridesmaids dresses and found the one for me! She truly has a gift because everything was done in a timely manner (dress arrival /​alterations). She truly is the Fairy Godmother! Thank You Again Doreen!

Went to a lot of bridal shops looking for the dress I wanted and I came to The Cinderella Cellar and bam it was there!!! Service was great! Loved the Fairy Godmother, she was the answer to my prayers the detail to my dress she gave was amazing and I’m so excited to walk down the aisle. Also I’m in love with her shop lol. The mirror in this shop is amazing and her shop is so cute and personal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I’ll be sure to send you pics of my big day!
