I made an appointment here for my grandkids who I adopted. There first mistake by the dental assistant that I spoke with. She did not tell me to bring proof of adoption. She admitted that she made the mistake by not informing ME of this. She went in the back and talked to Dr. Dang. she said it was OK I can bring proof next visit.
The main thing that concerned ME about this dentist office is that she wanted ME to allow them to take my grandkids in the back office for the first time withoit ME being present. My babies are 7 5 and 4. This was our first time, there’s.
I did apologize to her but informed Dr. Dang that I would be more comfortable if I could get to know or become familiar with the office b4 I allow them to take my grandkids in the back. She did not understand that. I was talking about I need to trust her. I don’t kNow you to trust u with my kids. So she did agree to let me go IN the back only for the first visit. I decided to go IN the back with them for the first visit. Then she kept trying to convince ME to let her take my 7 year old in the back and walk her around so that she can familiar with the office. I said no… I am going to go with her.
She then at that time decided to tell me, that she cannot see the kids without the proper paperwork.
So I left with my grandkids and told her that I would find another dentist. Asked her to plz return all paperwork with my information on it. She told me that she would shred it. I said not I would like it returned plz. The whole time she was giving ME back my paperwork… shw was making comments about people not trusting her.
It’s not that I think she would have done anything to my kids. But let me be comfortable enough to decide who I can leave my kids with. You will not make that Decision for me.
Terrible experience…
