West Coast Polishing & Detailing

My car was stolen but thankfully found. Unfortunately, we found some unsightly stains from who knows what. Wanted someone who could sanitize, get rid of the cigarette smell, and just make me feel like I’m driving my car again. The car was also 10 years old so getting rid of the dirt from the cracks would be a nice way to start off the year.
Emailed Sam and he was quick to email back with a quote and timeline. I would say within 2 days of a response! Who knew that people actually answered their emails?
Called up on ¼ (Monday) and was lucky enough to speak to Cindy, the receptionist. She was sympathetic to my wants. Felt like talking to a friend. I then spoke to her husband who was more than willing to accommodate even with the possibility that my husband might drop off the car and need a ride to work. Decided to drive up the car myself and wait around.
On ¹⁄₅ (Tuesday), I drove in at 9am to get my car finally cleaned.

— Decent waiting room with table and chairs even an arm chair
— Water and coffee. Not the best but they were always offering me coffee and donuts that someone brought in.
— Co workers including Sam (the owner) would come in and always say ‘Hi’ and/​or shake my hand
— Bathroom was better than expected.
— WIFI
Overall, I needed to study and was able to be comfortable/​felt welcomed enough to study for the 4 hours that I was there.

— Sometimes when the phone rang, a basketball game like buzzer would go off. After the first one, I was immune to it.

Location does not provide for walking to any shop or to do some errands on foot but it is an auto shop and the location is sufficient for them so I do not really consider this a con but more a forewarning that people should prepare ahead of time like bring food or something with which to occupy yourself.
Now the job. James did an amazing job.
— Crevices — Cleaned! I hope to post a picture of my middle console which just had glitter and gunk near the bolts. He cleaned that! Who cleans that? He does!
— Carpets — Washed
— Door panels — Washed and the wife’s owner even noticed that the cloth was coming off so she asked James to fix it. Wow!
— Dashboard — Gunk gone. When I ran my finger across the top, it did come up slightly black but I think that was more from the dust in the auto shop. Sounds odd but honestly, the rest of the car was amazing that I didn’t mind that. It’s an auto shop so a little light dust is nothing.
And finally… Price. Nice! Four all the work, done in four hours and for that price? Amazing! James even washed the exterior of my car because he thought why not? He also gave me a quote for the exterior damage should I want to get it fixed.
Overall, very satisfied both with customer service and job performance.

West coast sure did a great job on my truck. First, let me tell you folks, that they were closed. It didn’t dawn on me that it was Thanksgiving weekend (Saturday after Thanksgiving) and I just assumed that they were open. So I call, and James picks up and says he’ll go ahead and do the job. I got to the shop, and all gates were closed, and James shows up and opens the shop for me. It was pretty much him, and his son, who worked on my truck. It goes to show just how much they wanted and appreciated my business. Which makes me that much more appreciative of them and their hard work. Now my truck is basically as close to new as it could possibly be. The detail James put into the car was awesome. It was practically him by himself, so it did take some time. But my truck is a 08 tundra double cab, and lifted with a camper shell on. So it wasn’t a big deal for me to leave the truck with him for the time. And for those who think it may be a little pricey, I say, «You get what you pay for!» Thanks again James! –Heng

I hauled my vintage Airstream 1600 miles (round trip) from Portland, Oregon to have it polished at West Coast Polishing & Detailing. Sammy and his team did a great job, very accommodating, professional, and our old airstream looks fantastic. It gets compliments everywhere we go, and has that beautiful «mirror shine».

Took my husbands car him for detail. It was filthy dirty and was completely amazed at how well West Coast polishing and detailing cleaned it. The paint was dull before and when they were finished it was shiny and looked like new. I will be getting my car detailed there as well. Like their location. It’s easy to locate and fairly close to hwy 99.

Sam was so great to work with! He was fast to reply via e-​mail and text and exceeded my expectations. One of my windows popped out on its way to his business (its maiden voyage) and Sam found someone to replace the window for me! Truly takes pride in his work and it shows, I will be back for the next polish for sure. And his pricing is competitive.

Just got my truck back from a full detail at West Coast. After owning our own car wash and detailing company for 40+ years, this is the first time I’ve let anyone else work on my truck. When I first picked it up I was immediately amazed on the detail that they spent just on the outside alone. Once I stepped inside the vehicle I realized they paid just as much attention to detail on the inside. 100% satisfied customer, definitely going back with my other vehicles!
