Love this shop! Your options for antique shopping are very limited in Friday Harbor(sadly) but Funk & Junk is a good shop. The owners obviously have a great eye for quality pieces and there is plenty of taste evident in the curation of goods for sale. This is also the best place to find fine art in FH — if you are looking for something to hang on your wall, this is the place to shop. Plenty of investment-quality originals from artists with real skill. Prices can be inconsistent, but for every overpriced item there are a couple of real steals. I wish there were more antique and interior shops in FH just because I like to treasure-hunt, but you can’t really hope for a better shop than Funk & Junk in terms of quality and unique items. As a bonus, the owners are very friendly and have access to a lot of items that aren’t on display in the store. If you’re looking for a particular kind of piece, talk to them. You might be surprised at what they have in storage or in the estates they handle. I recently moved here and they’ve been a great help in locating well-made, classic pieces to furnish my home!

My experience at this shop was absolutely awful. My grandfather walks with a walker and was moving through the aisle as fast as he could. The employee proceeded to ask him to hurry up she needed to get through. Customer service aside the shop was full of things I see at the good will all the time. I definitely do not recommend this store!

This is a funky little antique shop situated right in downtown Friday Harbor. Its just a short jaunt uphill from the ferry line, too. The shop is pretty large for a small-town antique shop and contains treasures and trinkets from all over the world. Most of the stuff is old Americana but there’s a fair bit of stuff from elsewhere. The prices are all over the place. Some of the stuff is clearly overpriced but if you look closely, you can find some great steals. I didn’t buy anything during my visit but a friend bought a Persian-style decorative platter with a beautifully intricate design… and it was only $ 30. If you have some time to kill after parking in the ferry line, check this place out. Good antique shops are like little museums and this one certainly has plenty of interesting items to scope out.
