I like their sushi, granted I like the cooked rolls, but everything I’ve had is good. Normally I call in my order since it’s my lunch and it’s ready to go when I get there.

Do not order delivery from here! The 1st time it made us sick… food poison. The 2nd time they forgot ½ our food. We called & they said we could come pick it up. Um no. I asked to speak with the manager but she wouldn’t come to the phone. She was in the background saying we could receive 20% off next time. After that I requested my money back. The manager told the girl that they would pick the food up & bring back our money. When they got here, he inspected the food before he gave me back my money. Also he argued with me about my order which was correct on the ticket. Can I give it 0 stars?

I almost did not try this place after reading mixed reviews, I’m glad we went. It was a Thursday night, my husband decided to try it ! It was pretty busy ! We were greeted fast as we walked in and seated ! A nice lady took our drink order and was back fast, love the hot jasmine tea ! The table next to us has several kids and adults who were loud and inappropriate(kids were younger, too). We asked to move and it was much better.(not really restaurant’s fault, although they could have asked the group to quiet some as I saw many annoyed) We ordered one roll of sushi to share snd it just OK, not the best but it was not the special rolls ! The ginger salad and egg rolls were very tasty and the house fried rice(combo) was so fresh and good ! Overall, we will go back, I’ll try the special rolls next time ! I am not against kids but parents, please keep your kids under control while in any public place, seems like an epidemic lately ! That’s just rude when people are trying to enjoy a night out, etc!

I have eaten here a few times, and my boyfriend eats here frequently. We both think it’s delicious. The Asian fusion dishes we’ve had have been awesome. The sushi is good(not amazing, but definitely tasty) and very reasonably priced, especially compared to higher end sushi places. Also, they give a 15% discount to firefighters, EMTs, and police officers.

I used to not like coming here due to the quality and taste of the food. But in the past year or so the menu items have really improved and the food is really good now. I used to hate their sushi now it is really yummy! Soup& salad, seafood combos, shumai, and sushi are all good options. The delivery is fairly quick as well. They definitely have my family’s repeat business now!

Sushi is good. 528 roll is what I had. Will order again. I got food to go. They quoted me 10 mins on the phone and the quote was accurate. Food was hot when I got it too. Egg rolls are 10⁄10 but my only complaint is the house pad thai. It’s too spicy. I don’t think those words have ever come out of my mouth… but this was inedible. I love hot food… eat the hottest sauce at taco bell on the regular. This however was extremely hot and I couldn’t take one bite without chugging a whole bottle of water. 528 Roll 8⁄10 Egg Rolls 10⁄10 House Pad Thai 2⁄10 Expediency 10⁄10

Food tastes fresh compared to many Asian restaurants. Flavorful egg rolls & egg drop soup.

So… I called for delivery because I was working by myself. I placed my order with one person(she checked the distance) who said they could deliver within 5 miles. I had to call back and then I was told we don’t deliver to that address because it’s too far. I pulled up the Google map from their site and when you take the long way to get there… sure it’s 6.9 miles. But when you look at the shortest route… it’s 4.2 miles. Seriously poor service, even before I had gotten to try their food.

I like their food. It’s normally pretty good. It’s a miss rarely. But let me tell you, they do NOT respond well to complaints about their food still being frozen… Their service isn’t great. THEY sent ME their menu for delivery because I’m within their 5 mile range.(I checked to be sure) So tonight, when I called to place an order for delivery, they didn’t feel like delivering to me? I asked… ok…why did you send me your menu then??? «It depends on our drivers.» lol. Ok? Well, she decided they would go ahead and deliver. So, as of now, i will give them 3 stars. It’s been a long week and weekend. I’m tired and hungry. Hope I didn’t waste my time and money tonight. I’ll edit if it turns out that way.

This place is great. From sushi to General Tsao’s chicken this is Asian at its best. Japanese, Chinese, Thai; they have it all under one roof and its all good. Try the mein fun. The Singapore curry is chicken is spicy with extra pics on top, so be careful.

Heather and I love this place. I usually get the Kung Pow chicken and she gets all sorts of stuff. We love it. It’s Chinese and Japanese, seems more Japanese though.

Based on previous experiences in the world of friendswood cuisine, my expectations were not very high when going to 528 asian bistro. Needless to say, my experience was as predicted. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, and unsavory pop music was playing at overbearing volumes. Moving on to food quality, I would say it was mediocre at best. The roll I recieved contained tuna which resembled that which had been put in a blender. The most positive thing about my experience was the service. All my food came out in a timely manner, and the staff was friendly and well coordinated. Overall, 528 Asian Bistro is good, but there is defintely room for improvement.

Let me first start by saying the sushi is good. Now everything else is awful !!! This place is outrageously expensive !! Even the lunch specials are high. We ordered many things from soup to crab puffs and a few of the Asian dishes. The only positive was the sushi. Most everything was oily and the sauces are a joke, it’s the same base for everything and they just change the ingredients. They use dark meat for everything which is a major NO and yes you can get white meat but it’s breaded like sweet n sour chicken with sauce. Very big waste of money as we couldn’t eat any of it

Love this place! Great priced sushi that is absolutely delicious! Their hot and sour soup is some of the best around and their staff is always friendly. If you love it and plan on going back, they have a frequent customer card you can get for free that rewards you after so many meals. Oh and my favorite thing about this restaurant is the orange half with the cherry on top that you get at the end of your meal. It’s not something huge, buts it’s those little things that make a difference.

Didn’t try the sushi but the chick fried rice was really good as well as the pepper steak. Tso’s chicken was dark meat so I wasn’t impressed but otherwise, happy with our meal.

Made the poor choice of eating here last week, again! This will be the last. 6 times is enough to give an honest review. Every occasion goes like this: The girls up front are pretty useless, besides«wiping» off the menus and gossiping about who did what with who at school over the weekend. They lack any type of customer service training, but I don’t blame them… the fish stinks from the head down. My waitress was not any better. I was in a good mood. I smiled many times at her, used my manners, made eye contact… the whole 9 yards. And nothing! I think she would’ve been happier raking her butt over some hot coals. Is it that hard to smile? Even the 3 younger girls in the booth in front of me made some snarky comments about her attitude and unfriendliness. I ordered my dish«extra spicy» and asked for a side of garlic chili sauce. I like spicy. What I got was an overly(extremely) salty, not spicy, not REAL, chicken Kung Pao. Imagine that«pre-cooked bag of frozen cubed chicken that you can throw in the microwave for a few minutes» kind of chicken. Yuck! I chewed threw a few tendons then decided to push the chicken off to the side along with the extra salty sauce. Fried rice was lukewarm. Disappointed that I wasted the money only to eat a few peanuts. And what’s the point of asking me if it was spicy enough as you’re clearing off the table? Mind you, this was the 2nd time she came to my table after taking my order. The first time she refilled my H2O. I do enjoy their hot and sour soup, tho again, not very spicy, hence the side of chili garlic sauce. The food nor service earned my generous enough tip. And if you are confused about how much you should tip, they«cleverly» put the % brackets at the bottom of your bill. Here’s a tip: if you can deal with the mundane service and food, more pleasure to you. I haven’t found that one thing to keep me coming back, except for more water ’cause I’m so dehydrated from the food.

My review of 528 Asian Bistro is really of the sushi only, because that’s all I have ordered here. I ordered the Fuji roll and the salmon sashimi. I will admit that the sashimi was very good, but since they only give you 4 pieces, that is simply not enough to give them more stars. There really isn’t just any one thing about this sushi that didn’t wow me, but rather a combination of things. For starters, it was a little dry. Also, the pieces the pieces are rather small compared to others. And the main issue was the tuna in the Fuji roll seemed as though it came from a can. Nonetheless, I ate it. But I was still hungry afterward and the server didn’t come back to the table to see if I wanted anything else until my husband was just about done eating. So I passed on ordering more, with no great love loss. LOL. This place gets crowded, fast … as does their parking lot. Why? Not sure …
