Dr Clay Alexander is amazing. I had a C-​section with my first son and really wanted to do a VBAC with my second. Dr Alexander is one of the few doctor’s in the DFW area that will deliver a baby VBAC. My water broke on a Wednesday morning and labor was not happening naturally. Instead of putting me on Pitocin he let me wait it out. To be on the safe side (you can get an infection if your water breaks and the baby is not delivered soon) the nurses checked my temp every 2 hours like clock work. He let me try and go into labor naturally until Saturday morning at 9am, then I had to get the Pitocin. I felt safe waiting this long and Dr Alexander explained everything to me along the way.
After the Pitocin was given the dr that is delivering you has to remain in the hospital if you are a VBAC. Dr Alexander stayed the night at the hospital and waited until I delievered at 2am!
He is so patient. He is so very smart (he explains everything down to a T). He is the best OB/​GYN a girl could ask for.
