This was the first salon I visited that felt like a true bridal salon. The ambiance was warm and everything was white! I really felt like a bride walking into their shop! I worked with Karen who was such a delight. I had been to several other shops over the weekend and went in thinking I would give this place a try but didn’t think I’d come away with THE dress. However Karen was very helpful and pulled the dresses we picked until we said we were ready to try on (compared to other salons I had been to where they were fairly strict in limiting you to a specific number of gowns). I tried on a couple of gowns and never felt rushed to move on to the next. Karen let me spend as long as I wanted to in each of them.
When we finally found a dress I loved, she grabbed a veil, earrings, and a little bouquet for me. When I looked at myself with the veil on my eyes filled with tears. It was the first time I had really felt like a bride. None of the other salons helped me put together the WHOLE look like Karen did. She had an eye for details and the intuition to see what I couldn’t. Being a fairly indecisive person, I was so relived to feel like I finally found the expert I was looking for and could trust in my search for the dress. I know everyone’s experience is different, but I hope that all brides could have the day I did at Demetrios.
By the end, I felt like Karen was family! The store manager was also a joy to work with. After ordering my dress I left the store feeling like I had just walked out of a massage! I was so relaxed and overjoyed by the experience. It was a pleasure! The gowns by Demetrios are gorgeous, but the service was really a big part of my decision in finding «the dress»!

Loved my dress from Brides by Demetrios. I went to several other stores in the area and they were not near as helpful or interested in customer service as this store.
I hate that I can’t remember the name of the lady who helped me. She totally got my style right away and she even referred me to a store to have a custom beaded belt made. Also gave me her cell phone in case I needed any help. Wonderful experience!

I have spent THREE months trying to get Demetrio’s Bridal store to do right by myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding last Sept.
I went through 6 different employees (they cant keep an employee to save their lives) during our measuring, sales process, and management. Needless to say, all of my complaints fall on deaf ears and convenient for them, with not employee at the store still working there they can act like I never once opened my mouth. NOBODY there that can vouch for my experience.
We spent over $ 3,500 in the store.
I have been MORE than fair, patient, and have articulated in GREAT DETAIL what transpired pre wedding and up until that day.
They absolutely do not give one crap about client satisfaction, repeat business, or customer service. They can care less if their dresses suck and your one week out and searching high and low for new dresses!
The dresses we ordered were either measured wrong, ordered wrong, or manufactured wrong. THEY LOOKED TERRIBLE.
All of the bridesmaids had to go out a week before the wedding and but new dresses from department stores.
Between the first dress, alterations, and second dress they spent damn near $ 600!!! Do you think Demetrio’s cares whatsoever? No! I have shown them pictures, I have given a detailed outline of what happened, they keep citing their BS policy that basically would NEVER allow them to be accountable to ANYTHING!
I ask for consideration and to make things right with my bridesmaids. They absolutely do not care about making ANYTHING right.
You know someone getting married? Tell them to stay away from Demetrio’s and ESPECIALLY STAY AWAY FROM Demetrio’s on 121 in Frisco.

My niece needed a garment bag for her wedding dress and they gave her one for free!

I was extremely pleased with this Demetrios location after the fiasco of an experience I had with the Cherry Hill, NJ location.
To make it a long story short, the bridesmaids dresses did not come in when they should of and were more than a month late. The brides mother had to get involved with the district manager to get them to us more quickly.
My dress once delivered to NJ was being shipped to the Frisco location as I live in Dallas but the wedding is in NJ. Cheri answered the phone and was incredibly helpful and pleasant.
The NJ store told me the dress had been delivered that day at 6:05 AM which is impossible since they are not even open at that time. Cheri called the other store back for me to find out what was going on and relieve my stress.
After doing some magic, she called me back and let me know it would be delivered the next day. She even let me know after alterations she would ship it back to NJ for free to my house. I came in on the Saturday and picked it up. Everything was perfect. She even called the seamstress for me so that I could go directly over.
Wonderful experience! Highly considering looking at wedding gowns here (as I am also engaged) since the customer service was superb.

I had the most amazing experience shopping for «The Dress.» I thought I was going to be stressed out and overwhelmed, but a Estella was so great and understanding of all my wants and needs. The entire staff made me feel beautiful and I was treated like a princess. I highly recommend this bridal boutique!

I love this dress shop. Nancy is by far the best consultant I have ever ran across. I modeled wedding dresses when I was much younger and of all the huge brands I have worn, I found Demetrios to be the best made and overall fit.
They have several different price points and the dresses are completely customizable. Demetrios will be the only place I ever send people and mostly because of Nancy’s wonderful, sweet personality. She made me feel beautiful and special, which is exactly what every bride wants. I felt this place was very organized and on top of their ordering.

Great service and beautiful selection of dresses! Magda is so experienced and kind and very helpful. She helped me order my dress in a month and alter it in 2. Love the store and the beautiful atmosphere.

Holy Helicopter Sales, Batman!
I walked in to figure out what kind of dress would flatter my body. First off, they won’t let you past the reception area without filling out paperwork. I had to tell them my wedding date even though I pretended I didn’t know so they won’t call me with a ‘friendly reminder of the impending deadline’. Secondly, you are not allowed to walk amongst the dresses by yourself. I have seen every dress on the face of the planet, and came here to touch different fabrics and look at color options. My sales lady followed me everywhere. I felt like they pegged me as a thief and should not be left alone. When I touched anything, she opened it up so I can see the full dress and I’m like… dude, calm down. I just want to touch.
They push you to try things on, and expect you to gleam with joy. They don’t understand my understated happy Resting Bitch Face and showed me more dresses to get me to smile. I know the art of negotiation — can’t break mah poker face, homey.
Overall, the shop was unexpectedly designer, very clean, and have many options. I would give it more stars if they didn’t make me fill out paperwork and follow me around. FYI — when I told them my wedding date is less than 6 months away, they showed mild panic. Apparently, they need at least that long to get your dress ready.

I had a 2 o’clock appointment at David’s Bridal down the street. Stopped here first, just on a whim. From the online reviews, I assumed I wouldn’t be able to find anything within my budget ($ 500ish), but thought I’d give it a shot.
I was shown a large selection of «off the rack» dresses. Two hours later I walked out with the dress of my dreams, in my hands, for $ 534! The dress was originally $ 1300 and the quality is amazing! Don’t assume you can’t stop by just because of budget. Happy hunting!

The only reason this review would even get a 1 is because I loved the lady that helped us pick our bridesmaid dresses. She was fun, sweet, and a big help! HOWEVER,

Out of town and need it shipped to you. Don’t wait to pay the fee over the phone, just do it there! I’ve had to call multiple times to make sure it shipped and what do you know? Every time I call they claimed I never paid the fee! Which I did, I had to talk to two different ladies to get it processed both couldn’t speak English! Then the funny part is the fact that after I repeated my credit card number a thousand times the next Friday I have a charge on my card that I never use my card for!!! I find that really odd, I’m not accusing anyone but seriously? How coincidental… Anyway, proceed with caution when you Try to pay for your shipping!

Very extensive selection of gorgeous dresses but the lady didn’t help us pick anything at all, we had to pick it ourselves. Wouldn’t come back here simply because of the service. I was all excited to try on dresses and the lady assigned to me didn’t seem to share the same, or any, excitement. Demetrios is one bridal line, so that’s all they carry. They have trunk shows throughout the year where you can get discounted prices. Pictures NOT allowed.

I wandered in after feeling pushed into buying something I liked but didn’t love at David’s Bridal. Sharon introduced herself and told me about a sale they were having on past season samples. I rifled through the rack with her and ended up with the dress of my dreams for $ 400, walking out with it that day. Really great experience!

Call ahead and ask for an appointment with Estela. I promise you will not be disappointed. She only works on weekends during the school year, but during the summer you can find her on other days as well.
The store itself is beautiful, quiet and spacious. We really felt like we had the entire store to ourselves, which was so special. Estela knows a lot about which dresses look best on which body types, etc. She was really lovely to work with and visit with.
If you can, email them a link to your Pinterest page, or bring something in with you for your appointment. They will pull dresses based on what you show them, so the more info you can provide, the better. Especially since I’m not a dressy person, I don’t really have the vocabulary I need, so pictures are better.
I ended up finding my dress somewhere else, but I found several wonderful options and outstanding customer service at Demetrios.

Helpful staff. Beautiful dresses and accessories. I purchased my veil here (my dress had already been purchased before shopping here) and had a great experience.

Ordered my wedding dress and got all my bridesmaid’s dresses here. Can’t wait for them to come in!

This store has the best selection of gowns anywhere. If you want something different, this is the place to go. All of the ladies have nice taste, and their selection of gowns is spectacular.
People were totally in shock of me on my wedding day, I never wear dresses, so I received compliments galore! I LOVED how I felt in my dress on my wedding day, I couldn’t have felt more lovely.

Courtney C is right on! The customer service is HORRIBLE!!! I went to the Frisco location back in February and found my wedding dress. They took the measurements and told me it would be in at the beginning of June. I called at the beginning of June and was told oh it won’t be in now until the beginning of August. When I asked why the delay the answer was I don’t know sometimes these things happen. So now the beginning of August is here and my dress comes in. It is 3 inches too SHORT! The girl in February measured it wrong! I dealt with Magda, who was not sympathetic at all. She even insinuated that I messed up the measurement! Her solution was to add 3 inches of material around the bottom of the dress. I told her no; I am not paying $ 1600 for a dress that has material tacked on the bottom of it. Her next solution was to find another dress at another location in my size. They found one, but by the time it would be ready, it’s a few days before my wedding (we’re getting married September 3, 2011). My niece was able to find the same dress in the store that was a size smaller than I needed. We came up with the solution that they would alter the sample dress for me. When I asked about money off, Magda said she would have to talk to her regional manager. Now today, I get a call from Heather and she said their store is closed for electrical issues and they can’t see me to do the alterations. They can try to accommodate me on Saturday. At that point I told her I just want my money back. She went on to say she understood that the dress came in later than expected. UM HELLO, the real issue is that it’s 3 inches too short and you all could care less. She couldn’t get me an answer until she talked to her regional manager and would get back to me tomorrow!!!
I would NEVER recommend them to a bride. This has been the worst experience. Luckily, this is the only part of the planning that has gone horribly wrong.

The good: Beautiful dresses. The trying on process was a good experience.
The bad: My dress was «lost in transit» and instead of being delivered at the store in 4 months, it took them 6 months to get my dress in to the store.
The ugly: I had to call the store three times before someone called me back regarding the location of my dress. They told me it was in New York. When I went to pick up my dress I was less than impressed with the customer service as the young lady who assisted me acted like I was causing her inconvenience.

This location is found in an unassuming strip mall facing 121. Don’t let the nearby Rooms to Go fool you, this store is not for the bride on a tight budget.
The shop is spacious and well lit, with large isles full of dresses, roomy dressing rooms, and a huge mirror against one wall. We visited one Friday afternoon right before the Dallas Bridal show. The store was empty except for a flower girl and her mother trying on dresses.
I was helped by a consultant named Sharon, who had vast amounts of dress knowledge and was happy to pull as many dresses as I wanted to try on. I picked five dresses, and Sharon suggested three more that I might like based on some pictures I had brought. One of the dresses she suggested ended up being my favorite, and there was no problem with my mother taking pictures to show the rest of the family. Sharon gladly wrote the style numbers down for us so we could look them up online.
Unfortunately, the dress I fell in love with was about $ 2,300. As I said earlier, this place isn’t for the bride on a tight budget. Their dresses start at $ 1,000, but are more in the $ 2,000−3,000 range. The decision to stop in was an impulse decision, and I’m definitely glad I did.
