Bubbles N Bones Pet Grooming

Sent my two Yorkies to Bubbles and bones for grooming on Saturday and they are both covered in cuts and were both shaved raw. They put a bandana on both dogs and they were tied so tight I am surprised my dogs could breathe. never again!!! Butchers!

My Boston could always tell when I was about to take her there. It was fine the 1^st year but got progressively worse. She hated this place but I kept taking her. The last time I took her there she was terrified! I get a call within 20 minutes telling me they are taking her to the vet because she had a seisure. I’m not blaming them but if I had a redo I should have listened to my instincts and her fear. She died later that night. If you’re in doubt observe your pets behavior especially if they are nervous about loud noise and had bad experiences there before.

They always do a great job on our Bichon and seem to be very friendly. We have only been a few times, but so far, we are very impressed. Good prices and friendly service!

Love these ladies. I have been taking my dog here for 2 years now and have never gotten a bad haircut. He is a brat, but they don’t have a problem with him. So thankful.

First time visit here was a very good experience. My boy got a clean cut and wasn’t as anxious as he normally is. Staff was very professional and thorough and I love the fact that you can actually watch the crew at work. Will definitely recommend and return.

There are very few places that I can repeatedly have exceptional service. This is one of those times. The ladies are always so sweet and most important my dog is always so happy when he leaves there. I attempted a groomer closer to my house when I moved a few months ago, and that was the biggest mistake ever. He was timid and wouldn’t leave my leg while I was paying for the service. I will definitely be taking the drive to this location specifically every time he needs to be groomed.

Bubbles and bones were awesome I brought my new Yorkshire Terrior 4 month old puppy there today. Collete was awesome and he did GREAT and looked adorable. And reasonable.

We’ve been going to bubbles n bones for 5+ years. Louie and shelby love ann! We love it and will continue to go!

We’ve had to quit taking our little man here (6 lbs Yorkie). The last two cuts have been inconsistent. Additionally, while we can’t necessarily prove it, on our last visit he developed a bacterial infection in his penile sheath. We live in a clean apartment with no other pets and he is supervised on his 3 walks per day outside. He developed this infection just about 2 days after his grooming. The vet did a culture and found it to be E. Coli which was likely from laying in excrement. I PROMISE YOU THIS DID NOT HAPPEN ON OUR WATCH! The only place this could have happened would have been at the groomers; either laying in a dirty crate or dirty clippers (just my guess). So after a couple of hundred dollars at the vet and fun times of forcing meds down his throat and washing out his penile sheath 3 times per day (which stings very badly), we’ve decided we won’t be back.
To the owners: I’m sorry if this doesn’t seem like a fair review, but I’m compelled to describe the facts of what happened and why we quit coming to your business. It wasn’t enough to just quit coming, I couldn’t leave the 4 star rating standing. I hope I am wrong about how this happened and hope you may review your processes either way.

First visit here was not pleasant.
The check in went well I have a larger dog who has a lot of fur. However what they don’t tell you is that big dogs are put into a bathroom with the door shut! Because you know I want my dog to be locked in a strange dark room alone. No thanks.
Secondly, the groom looked god awful. He was a simple face feet ad tail. His tail was uneven, his paws had fur hanging out all over the place. His face did look decent. But his sanitary area was awful. And not touched even though I asked. The whole reason I paid 130 dollars for a groom is to make sure he looks great! I checked in at 7 am and he wasn’t finished until 430 pm! His nails weren’t clipped and upon checkout everyone was so rude and looked like they hate their jobs. I won’t be coming back. and I will tell my friends how awful this experience was. I’m so disappointed I’m out 130 dollars for such a Failure of a job.

I have to say that the customer service is excellent, the owner personally call me and made sure all my needs were meet, lily look great after last time I was there and she smell awesome!

I have 3 terriers that need grooming, decided to try this place after reading recommendations on here. Took my Airedale in and was asked what cut I wanted. I explained at length. Went to pick her up later, not at all what I asked for. Pretty much just shaved. No beard, no skirt… there’s a definite Airedale look, and she looks nothing like that right now. Very disappointed. For $ 82 I’d expect more

I’m fairly new to the area. I have 3 doggie babies who have only gone to one groomer for their whole lives. I have tried several groomers in the Frisco/​Plano area and they were HORRIBLE… so bad that I was driving my babies to Tennessee to go to their regular groomer.
I was in a store talking to the owner of Memphis Catfish in Frisco, and mentioned that I was tired of driving so far to have the dogs groomed. He recommended Bubbles n Bones. I’m so glad he did!
The pricing is average, they gave me a reminder phone call, and my babies looked and smelled great! They followed all of my instructions (sent a note as the hubby dropped them off). They are my new grooming salon in Texas. I could not be happier!

I think they’re wonderful! Their pricing is in line with other groomers, all of the groomers clearly love what they do and my Great Pyrenees always walks out of there with a «smile on her face» and her head held high!
My only complaint — and it has nothing to do with the salon or groomers — is the Starbucks drive through causing MAJOR traffic back-​ups where the Bubbles N Bones customers park. There’s no excuse for waiting over 5 minutes for a car to «allow» you to back out of the parking space after dropping off or picking up your pooch. If the Starbucks was there before the groomers, this was not a smart location for Bubbles N Bones to relocate (they used to lease a space in FRONT of the same shopping center), Regardless, the Landlord and/​or Starbucks needs to invest in a new drive-​through stemming from the south or west of the building. This is a potentially dangerous situation waiting to happen… Just sayin’

My two goldens looked great with their summer cuts! They were super busy and it didn’t take them too long to get them finished. Looked great and happy dogs.
