History

Established in 1999.

I was a stay at home dad that liked to play golf. I started Clay’s Clippers to make extra money to play golf with. The first year I mowed yards from the back of my Nissan Altima and before you know it, I had almost 70 yards. The next year I joined The Frisco Chamber of Commerce, where I serve as a Chamber Ambassador today, and increased my business to nearly 120 yards. I proceeded to purchase a truck, trailer and hire help. About 5 years into the business my wife was able to leave the corporate world to work with me. She went back to college and got her degree in Landscape Design and Computer Aided Design. She now does an amazing job designing landscapes for houses, pools and anything else that you’d like. With my wife working with me, we now have time to spend with each other, our children and have much free time to volunteer at our church and for Frisco Family Services.
