CrossFit Remedy

I’ve been going to this place for about 8 months and I absolutely LOVE it! Before joining I was a bit nervous about Crossfit since it has a reputation for being «hardcore». But since the first time I walked in, everyone has been so friendly and supportive. Larry, (the owner) and all the other coaches… Lance, Devin, Ana, Nathan, and Kayleigh all have been awesome! I’ve actually worked out at a few other boxes (crossfit lingo for gym) my friends are at. The main difference i noticed at Remedy was the level of detail when it comes to teaching correct form and making sure you stay injury free. These guys really take an interest in checking your technique and scaling the workouts to your fitness level.
I’m 37 yrs old and I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to these guys. I’m stronger, more confident and actually look forward to working out! Its definitely starting to take over my life… no wonder everyone thinks its a cult!
They have lots of different classes you can take such as yoga, olympic lifting (my favorite), boot camp, regular WODS (workout of the day) and open gym times.
I definitely am glad I joined this box and I’m looking forward to progressing and continuing to become the strongest version of myself.
I don’t write many reviews on Unilocal… but when I do its because they are a one of a kind business. This place has definitely changed my life and helped me embrace all the challenges I face outside of the box.
Definitely give this place a try! You never know… you might love it like I do!

After a very disappointing experience at North Frisco Crossfit I tried this place out twice and was amazed at how welcoming and kind everyone is here. The trainer Anna is wonderful. Nice facilities too. It may be a little too far from my house. Need to see how it goes with my work schedule before I join, but really like this place. Perhaps I am not the typical crossfit woman, if there is even such a thing, but that didn’t matter to them. I felt extremely comfortable here.

Dropped in with my husband while in town for a wedding. I don’t think they get many drop-​ins, but they were very well organized had a great program/​format that easily allowed for us to jump into the class. Our instructor, Larry, was very helpful and made sure we were kept right on this, as well as offered great tips on our form. A challenging strength builder and WOD. Really friend community, as well! I would definitely recommend this box to anyone in the area!

I dropped in at Crossfit Remedy for a few days. I was really amazed and pleased with this gym. I wish I could join this gym full time.
First off, everyone in the gym, every member, came forward and introduced themselves. Makes you feel welcome
right away. The WOD’s were purposeful and challenging. Larry, the owner, is completely hands on. A true leader. I really appreciated him. On the second day I dropped in I came at open gym time but received a private session, free of charge to help me improve my Overhead Squat.
I drop in on a lot of gyms while I travel the US. This gym is the best you can find.

I was lucky to get a free week trial for this location. I was very impressed with Larry and all the techniques I learned from him. His ability to motivate and inspire you is top notch. Miss this place. Good memories. Everyone there was so friendly. Amazing workouts. It works alright!

CrossFit Remedy is fantastic! No matter your age or fitness level, I would recommend that you give them a try. From the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed like family. Not just from the coaches, but from the members as well. The programmed workouts are also some of the best I have seen. Whether you are looking to just simply stay in shape or you want to get more competitive, the coaches will accommodate to your fitness level and needs.

Dropped in today and was welcomed by an energetic and knowledgeable staff. Everyone took the time to introduce themselves and I felt right at home! Great attention to detail and very helpful with OLY technique! If you are in the area, and are looking for a very community focused gym with a big personality and lots of great coaches then this is the spot for you!:)

I’ll add to all the Five Star reviews. This is the best crossfit gym I’ve been to. They have all the space and equipment you need. But what makes it great is the people. Brandie, Larry and Nathan do a great job as coaches. And everyone in the gym is supportive and friendly. It really inspires you to come as often as you can and work hard.

Remedy is one of my favorite parts of the day. Larry, Ryan, Brandi and Nathan all work so well together to motivate and train an exceptional community of people. Crossfit is a fitness revolution sweeping the nation and Remedy is the only place to go in North Texas. Crossfit is the best way to tone, strengthen and sculpt your body. Remedy has workouts that will leave you gasping for air and asking for round 2 the next day. I have been a member since August 2012 and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Love this place. I am getting some of the best workouts of my life here. I’ve made a few new friends and am totally hooked on the workouts. If you want to be challenged this is the place for you.
