Every Dog’s Day Canine Resort & Day Spa

I am not familiar with many dog resorts as I normally booked my animals with my vet which is way cheaper but I do not know how much time they spend with the animals or let them play. So we were happy to referred here for our two dogs.
They groomed the dogs and we had late check out with grooming. My dogs seemed very happy and we enjoy having the internet video access to see them play.
No complaints about my dogs and they took into mind that one of my dogs is very old and needs gentle care.
So far, so good has been our two visits here.

Our dogs usually go to a different kennel, but our normal kennel was booked over Thanksgiving. We boarded our dogs with Every Dog’s Day for the first time and I will never go back. We were hounded to make sure our dogs had updated shots. Our small dog came home with kennel cough. I called Every Dog’s Day to see if there was anything they could do (pay for the Vet bill, etc). I spoke with a manager and she told me they typically do not cover the bill, but would like for me to call back if our dog is diagnosed with kennel cough so they can keep their records updated. I am so disappointed. I will never go back. My dogs were clearly updated with shots and there was obviously an infected dog there. The manager tried to tell me that it is possible our dog caught it from somewhere else. That just made me more upset because they haven’t been anywhere except for our house. Please, please, please be on the lookout if your dog stayed with them over Thanksgiving.

I’m a fan of this place for sure! Took my little Bella Blu there for her latest Groom and they did a great job. Ms. Angela was Bella’s groomer and she did a fabulous job! Everyone at the Front Desk area met us with a smile and very happy and attentive. One of my good friends takes her two pups there for Doggie Day Care too. All in all, very nice facility and very friendly Staff. Thank you, Every Dog’s Day! Bella Blogged about you all!

Strange that 5 months after I left my original review the business decided to respond.
To be clear, they never told us our dog wasn’t allowed to come back. We made that decision on our own, given that the owner wasn’t communicative and never got back with us as I requested. I feel it’s important to be transparent regarding my experience which is why I posted this follow up review.
Again, this is my experience, and it was far less than ideal. I cannot and will not speak to anyone else’s experience. I simply didn’t feel like this business ended up being a good fit for our dog given the issues we encountered.

While I appreciate the response, and agree it is highly upsetting when your non-​aggressive dog is attacked and requires veterinary care, I find it inexcusable when I can’t get the truth about what happened from the staff or owner. I appreciate the fact the dogs were separated and my dog was promptly taken to the vet. That’s what you should do — and did.
What I am appalled at and the reason for the one star review was the defensive response to my questions and the lack of consistency. Three different stories by two people tell me I shouldn’t come back. And won’t.
Had you all been honest and delivered a consistent explanation of what happened, particularly that you are an expensive facility, and I might recommend you and come back. I won’t.

We have used Every Dog’s Day for doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming several times and have been extremely pleased with all 3 services. The staff there is very friendly and attentive. We enjoy watching our 2 Corgis on the webcam while in play and boarding so it helps us know they are having fun and well-​taken care of while we are away.
They are one of the few boarders that have staff on duty ²⁴⁄₇ and that gives us piece of mind. When our boys have an accident in their room, it’s promptly cleaned up. Boarding here is a great value because the rate includes a half day of PlayCare, which we would have to pay extra for at other boarding places. They also take the dogs out 6 TIMES to go potty, more than any other boarding places we researched. The staff also makes a little scrapbook page for the dogs when they stay a certain number of nights! It’s absolutely adorable.
For PlayCare, a staff member plays WITH the dogs at all times. We took our dog to another place once and he just laid there all day because there were no people to interact with him. At EDD, we see both our dogs running around and playing with the staff member and dogs the entire time. I also like that the main play area is indoors so the bad weather will not hamper the dogs’ fun and they never come home wet and muddy.
We generally have the dogs groomed after being boarded or if they’ve been in PlayCare for more than a few days. They always come home fresh, clean, and looking dapper!
I highly recommend EDD. They’ll take great care of your dogs.

I’ve never boarded my dog before. Every Dogs Day was Recommended by my vet. The staff was very nice and welcoming when I arrived. They took notes on all of my elderly Dog’s needs, which included meds in her eyes and frequent potty breaks. I gave them puppy pads and diapers that they could use as needed. I also gave them a bag with her toys, treats, and food. I instructed them how much food she should get, and it was written on the instructions on the bag. I left for my weekend trip feeling confident that she would be in good hands. However, when I called to check on her, they said that she wasn’t playing with the other dogs so they left her kenneled most of the day. They also told me that there were 120 dogs there for that weekend! I knew then I had made a mistake. How could my dog possibly get the attention she needs with so many other dogs to take care of? I went to pick her up. After Paying my $ 152 bill, They brought her out soaked in her own urine! The bag of prescription food that I had instructed them only to give her a half a cup per meal twice a day was almost empty, letting me know she’d been fed much more. Her bag of toys and treats, puppy pads and diapers, was zip tied closed with a note on it that said do not open. So despite the fact that I had provided puppy pads for her kennel while she was there, the staff never used them. I had to bring her home and immediately bathe her. I will never use this boardinghouse again!

They care for your dogs as if they were their own pets! They pay attention to detail; they know our dogs and show them genuine love. We have been using them for almost 3 years and we would not go anywhere else!!!

WOW what a disappointment! I normally board my two dogs at our vet and have had great success. Unfortunately, they were booked full so I picked Every Dog’s Day partially based on Unilocal reviews. Everything seemed great at first… they couldn’t have been nicer at check in and check out and I enjoyed sporadically checking in on them via the play room cam. I paid $ 300 for 5 nights which is a lot of money but that’s about the going rate around here.
As soon as I got them home I noticed that both of them were COUGHING! Additionally, my male dog had green puss oozing from his penis (sorry, there just isn’t a nice way to say that). I took them to the vet the next day and my KENNEL COUGH fear was confirmed. They couldn’t diagnose exactly what the puss was from but this dog has never been sick so it’s hard not to think it was a coincidence. The trip to the vet cost me $ 200 so I’m now in for $ 500 on this deal. The good news is that both dogs have stopped coughing and everything else is back to normal.
I understand that kennel cough is not 100% preventable and that it’s a risk you run boarding your dogs anywhere. At my vet’s encouragement, I called them to let them know what had happened. I politely asked for a manager and I was met with defensiveness and a history lesson on kennel cough. I really don’t know what they could have said to make me feel better but I do know that I hung up the phone much more angry than I had been when I first called.
Lesson learned is that I will not board there again because 1) both of my dogs got sick, and 2) their customer service needs serious help!

So far I am SUPER pleased w/​Every Dog’s Day! I dropped in yesterday for a tour, and absolutely love their safe setup for dogs. The owner, Lori, showed me the whole place, and answered all of my overly-​concerned-​dog-​mom questions. Lori, along w/​the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed, and got a great vibe from all of the staff members. I went back last night so I could show my husband and we got another tour spur of the moment! {No lie, he is a total cheapskate and even HE was impressed and thought the price was spot on considering all the perks!}
Today I took my dogs (2 large breeds, a weimaraner + vizsla) in for the required 2.5 hour (FREE) evaluation and I loved that the staff sent them home w/​a little report card! I’m taking my dogs in this weekend to stay for 3 days/​2 nights and will review again when I get back! So far, these are the pros/​cons I’ve observed:
Pros: Everything above, they will feed your dog (s) at whatever time you want, they have WEBCAMS so you can watch your pups when they’re in play or in their room. Staff is super friendly and thorough; you’ll never feel like your asking a «dumb» question. Evaluations to weed out aggressive dogs is very comforting! Location is great for us, and easily accessible. Cute themed rooms of all sizes with REAL mattresses! Great set up!
Cons: A little more expensive then the last place we used, but I’ll gladly pay more for the beefed-​up supervision of my dogs along w/​the webcams. My dogs won’t be getting quite as many hours of play time as they got at our last boarding kennel, but again, here I know they are supervised 100% of the time while in play. Plus, the room we chose isn’t some teeny-​tiny room; there’s PLENTY of space for them to play together inside there.
If you love your doggies and want to board them somewhere that you can ENJOY your time away w/​o worrying about their safety and well-​being, try this place out!

This review is just for the grooming.
I thought they did a decent job on my shih-​tzu mix, but it was just a mediocre cut– for $ 56 dollars plus tip (!), I was expecting more.
He is bathed on a weekly basis and brushed regularly with no mats, and he’s very laid back– even they said so. I guess here you are paying more for the décor and the «spa» image. That’s ok, it’s part of their thing, but I won’t be back here for grooming again. The people are nice and all, but it’s really just so-​so groomers charging super premium prices.
I’ll stick with my veterinarian’s groomer– she’s just a nice and gives him a cuter cut for $ 16 less.

Every Dog’s Day took care of my babies for TWO WHOLE WEEKS and they did great thanks to the awesome staff at Every Dog’s Day (and I have a temperamental 85 pound boxer that they handled with ease).

This place is fabulous! I had boarded my chi chi’s only once before at another location and felt that it wasn’t very clean. However, when I walked into this massive (very clean) establishment, I was blown away at how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is.
The owner lives on the premises which means these pets have supervision at night (which most places dont do)… The rooms are very very clean. My girls were totally happy when I picked them up.
They even took pictures of my girls and presented me with a little scrapbook!!! yes…
My second trip was exactly the same… more pictures and happy girls.
I highly recommend this establishment…
